Part 38 of Metalworks 1955 Chevy ProTouring build. Building the Art Morrison GT Sport chassis.

Justin disassembles the Art Morrison GT Sport chassis. Trevor takes over in the body shop and sprays the chassis with black epoxy, then 2 coats of Northstar flat black paint. Justin then takes back over and assembles the chassis. The body is then mated to the chassis.

The trim has all been done in cerakote to match the centers of the Forgeline wheels...we will have a video of the process posting soon.

Just curious. Why paint and not powder coat? Is that the owner's preference?

We actually do both paint and powder coat depending on the build and customer preference...this one went with paint.

Man you 😊 have to have a good eye when you are painting a frame and roll cage been there and done that. That frame is sick 😷with the IRS . As usual you guys 😉😊 do fantastic 👌 work.. what state are you in and do you have tours of your place . Thanks and take care .

As a painter myself seeing the work and time gone into just panel and paint alone. I'd hazard a rough guess at possibly 80k just panel/paint possibly more. Let alone the rest of it.
