As for the airport lounge access, you might as well be on their Platinum plan because there's virtually no difference. Higher ticket prices if you want their airport services, and a whopping 3.5% surcharge on overseas spending - 50% higher than others. I've been with AMEX for 28 years and this experience has been a disappointment. Tried to revert to Platinum and get a refund, but they'd rather lose a loyal client. Now escalating to Consumer Affairs and RBI. Beware of the hidden truth behind the shiny Centurion Black Card! Let's hold brands accountable for what they promise. Concierge service is available in every part of the world, meet and greet at airport in india is available at Delhi for now, but worldwide there are more airports where you can avail

You need to have the Platinum charge card for at least one year with a very heavy spends of ₹ 60 lakhs or so. Though Amex never releases the criteria officially.

Actually recently came to know that by mistake I filled a form for car loan on cars24 and that stupid site made 2 hard enquiries at the same time and it made the cibil drop by 12 points. So, thinking to wait a bit and apply for the base card and eventually upgrade.
