I’ve had mines for a few years now and just recently moved into my new appt with it. It’s still going strong. Copying and scanning using the machine can be annoying sometimes since you will need to make sure to load it in evenly. But overall it does what it is designed to do. I like it.

I work from home full time and needed a printer. Just got my 3755 today. Worked great with my personal laptop. Very happy. But took a beating getting it to function on the laptop my company gave me; my work pc. Until I saw a note saying when you download the HP smart app to pc, make sure you ARE NOT logged into your company VPN. So I logged out of the VPN. Uninstalled the printer. Uninstalled the HP smart app. Then started from scratch on that device. After that worked great. Tested it while logged onto company VPN. Still worked great. Just a tip I thought I would share.

Erin, I purchased this printer December 2019 as a cheap add on to my windows system. For the 1st year it did everything exactly as advertised. Then it started to stall I never knew when I sent something to the printer from my pc when or if it would eventually print. It prints easily on wifi from my Android phone no problem. Copy, Scan work fine.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled an it is hit or miss printing from my Computer. I do like the ink arriving in the mail before I need it, but I am used to other brands that have individual colored ink so you don't have to discard a cartridge when you only run out of 1 color.
Over all for the inexpensive price I paid for it, I feel I got value over 2 years.

For the price it's hard to beat this. Yes it prints slow but if you're a heavy office user this price point isn't for you. It connected to wifi easily, always prints on command, friends can print to it by signing on my wifi, and I love the vibrant color blue. At this point maybe I'll run into an issue eventually but for the price and how well it's worked it has already did more than I expected and helps my work from home life

I bought this printer in the color White on clearance at Target. Lucky find! I purchased it for $52 dollars. But I ended up investing in a USB-A to USB-B cable to connect directly to my laptop. The printer only connects wirelessly to 2.4 GHz Wifi, which I didn't have. The signal didn't reach all the way to my home office. So I didn't want to deal with Wifi printing. It was easy enough to use a cable on my Macbook Air. I did have to use a USB-A to USB-C adapter, but it works great. The jobs print immediately after I click "Print". I'm using it to print out my college coursework. I haven't found the time to fiddle with the WiFi Direct option (to print from the network the printer makes), which is different from printing via your own Wifi.

I think your review of the HP 3755 is just great; I'll get one on your recommendation. Thanks! Good thing I don't have a Macbook or iphone then.

Good review, it's a so-so product; when it wants to work, the copies are reasonably sharp and not too slow in print times, but when it starts to act up, then re-setting it is an annoyance. And it does go through ink a bit fast so be prepared. HP could support their products a bit more than they do now if they want to keep a good customer base.

I actually bought this printer the day before I saw your review and I’m happy you liked it as I do so far. Appreciated the features you highlighted such as how to feed for a scan, something not in the printed manual but I’m sure it’s in the pdf manual. Thanks very much Erin!

I just bought this printer as I needed a small footprint. I have had HP printers in the past and they have served me well but we'll see with this one.
So far it works as intended, i haven't printed a photo yet. With one downside being no bed scanner for the few times you may need one but I guess phone print/scan should work.
For those who use it with their computer one word of advice - set this up on your smartphone if you have a secure wifi. It was impossible to set it up on Windows 10. It also needs you to sign up to the internet and you need a password... it's either just the enter key or space then enter key. Once it was setup it seemed to work well.
Here in the US the cartridges are kind of expensive so instant ink is probably the way to go. HP gives you 4 months (8 months when using their smartphone app) of free ink based on pages not ink used. At about $32 (US) a cartridge retail it could be a great bargin especially for photo printing.
Will it last for a while? Supposedly it has a 1000 page per month durt cycle... who knows, time will tell.

Thank you! This is so helpful. Can I connect it by USB cord if I don't want to connect it to WiFi? I live rurally and our internet stinks. I won't be using it with my phone, either, just my computer. Also it looks like you don't scan by opening a lid and laying the object to be scanned on the glass? You feed it through? Thank you for your time if you can answer these questions! I'm very non-techy and worry if I can set this up.

Hello, Thanks for your questions. This is a printer, not a scanner so it can only make simple copies. I believe you should be able to connect it physically with an ethernet cable (it's been a while since I had this on loan so I'm no longer sure if it was ethernet) HP's customer support is actually really great, so if you did have difficulty, I have no doubt they could help you.

Really liked this HP3755 printer when I was trucking for documents that needed to be printed small and compact. I do have a question though, now that I'm using it at home what is the capability of paper in weight that this printer can handle don't have the manual to check. Want to do some crafing with card stock, thanks if you have any input 👍

Iʻve done alot of printing w/my printer…ran out of black ink BUT just signed up w/hpii program and got 8 free months…max 700 pages per month. Still printing w/the colored ink cartridge…hopefully Iʻll receive the hpii cartridges SOON🎉🎉

If you can refill the ink with syringes it great but if it's not or the cartridges get disabled by hp remotely then it's bad
Does OTG cable works on iPhone? I know it works on Android

Right. HP has shenanigans. I got a Notice that my HP ENVY Photo 7155 was No Longer Supported. But, there was a Driver Update! Yay ;-) Any "Updates" AFTER the Device is No Longer Supported appears to degrade Efficiency and Functionality. I noted that I no longer had access to Maintenance Tools. No Printer Head Cleaning, Alignment, etc, anymore. I had 50%+ INK. but my Prints were coming out Blank. I miss Lexmark. Anyway, I picked up an HP Deskjet 3755 at BestBuy. So, I'm consuming any YT Content to make that $110.00 worth my while. Thank You.

This printer has been nothing but trouble for me. The driver is buggy. The scan function is bad at best. And the cartridge gets me about 10 prints before having misprint. It's really bad. Worst printer ever. Never had problems with Brothers.

I would agree with the comments that HP is a frustrating company to work with so I would not recommend buying a HP Printer even though I bought the HP 3755 printer based off this video. I regret this decision every day I have to print or copy. Where I have my issues is 3 areas. 1. I was told by HP that after the 1 year of warranty that I would have to buy their tech support for $51 the first month and $16 every month thereafter. 2. It will not allow me to enable borderless photos to be printed. 3. To copy with this machine is beyond horrible. If you don't get the paper right tight it will come out look like a 3 year old did the job. Not a professional machine, not a professional printer.

It's a garbage 🗑. Don't waste your time and money on it. After you got it, you'll regret. HP company just want to sell whatever they have and after a year they'll ask you to pay more.
