Christ, after His resurrection, exists beyond time and space, in the eternal now. This means that His sacrifice is not confined to a specific point in time but is an eternal reality that transcends human understanding of time and space. Hebrews 10:12 clearly affirms that Christ's sacrifice was once and for all, and Romans 6:10 speaks of Christ's victory over sin and death as an eternal event. For the Mass to suggest that Christ is re-sacrificed, it places Him back into a temporal reality, subject to sin and death, which contradicts His victory. To claim that His sacrifice needs to be repeated, rather than honoring the completed work of Christ, undermines both His eternal nature and the perfection of His sacrifice. Christ's sacrifice cannot be improved upon or repeated; it is the ultimate, eternal solution to the problem of sin. Any attempt to re-sacrifice Him not only distorts the reality of His victory but also denies the full sufficiency of God's plan for salvation. Instead of pointing to a continual re-enactment, the Eucharist should be seen as a memorial-a proclamation of what Christ has already done, grounded in the eternal truth of His finished work. No priest can call him down in flesh and blood because he sits outside of time and space in his glorified state, not of flesh and blood.
