We're looking at a 1958 Pontiac Bonneville Sport Coupe Hardtop with Tri-Power engine.

ENJOY!
I love the instructions on the engine breather cap; "Wash every 2000 miles, oftener under severe conditions" Didn't know "Oftener" was a word! Nice car Lou.
I have one more video of this one for you to enjoy. ruclips.net/video/K67X6fut2FU/видео.html
Great model, color combo, body sculpture, gas filler behind taillight, interior, wild shiny dash, and of course tri power.👍

Hahaha
You can tell GM had a sense of humor..SPORTS COUPE.. Ya, right. About as sporty as a Kenworth.
For that era a Tri Power Bonneville was one of the hottest cars on the street. Very few cars made in 1958 could out-perform one of these. The J2 Oldsmobile's were great performers in those days too. The only cars that could outperform them were maybe the Mopar high performance models like the Chrysler 300-D, DeSoto Adventurer, Dodge Super D-500, and Plymouth Fury. Chevy and Ford really didn't have anything that could run with the Mopars or Tri Power Poncho's/Oldsmobile's in 1958...at least not on the street or at the drag strip. Mercury did have the 400 horsepower 430 cubic inch 3 x 2 Super Marauder engine available that year but very few were produced and it was a one year only engine option
:-)
