It's interesting about the physicality of books. I consider myself lately a primarily e-reader (convenience, eyesight) but I still wanted The Passenger in hard copy. Then, I notice so many complaints about how ugly The Passenger book is. But I find it really beautiful lol because all my feeliings are attached to the physical experience of reading it. So I agree that having physical books do 'bring you back' to that reading experience. I think because I grew up like most reading from libraries where you don't control the version and cheap paperbacks from yard sales and Goodwills, I never have grown precious about the physical book but I can still appreciate a goodlooking cover!
