- William Percival's Maxwell Waltzer at the Stamford mid-lent fair 2016. One of the best looking Waltzers in the UK, with a fantastic sound and light show.

ITS THE BEST
This is the BEST Waltzer I have ever seen. And I think this is the BEST Light set-up - I mean, those lights were better than all Rides and most Concerts and Parties these days. That must of took a hell of an effort though.
Search for EVANS atmosphere creator, to me that is the best Waltzer, and has the best lights.

I've been round fairgrounds all my life and been fortunate to work for a couple of showman...but William percival Jr's machine is bar none the best traveling nightclub in the whole of the UK...forget albert Evans and Terry atha...this us where its at...keep up the good work Mr percival

Love fairs I always went as a teenager I’m 51 still love them nite life fantastic lazer light package hard work gone in to building all rides hours hard grafting credit to all ladies serving yummy food too controlling rides 👍

This is way better than the waltzer that comes to my local village. That one barely has lights full stop. It has a few lights but they’re just general house lights so the ride isn’t pitch black

Thank you! It was my first ever visit to Stamford, can't believe I've never been before. Really nice fair that I'd like to spend more time at in future years. There will be a few more vids from it over the next week

1:42 are they using traditional bulb strobes or the DMX LED modern strobes.
+TheStrober I believe all the strobes are traditional "proper" ones!
Ah right I was wondering because now their's a trend of those DMX RGB strobes replacing the 'proper' ones especially in ghost trains and Blackpool clubs like 'Revs' and 'Tache'. Nice to know the true ones are still in business, for the moment. The LED ones are just not the same, too fade-y.
+TheStrober I don't think LED strobes will ever beat the traditional ones for applications like this. The LED are often used just because they are more durable, run cooler and last longer.. but the traditional bulb strobes are still widely available as DMX models so the option is there!
Apparently the LED strobes may be going full circle due to people working on them so they have the exact same choppy flash-style as the old uns.
+TheStrober LEDs are getting better and better! I have a 1500watt traditional strobe that used to trip my sockets out when I plugged it in whilst living in university accommodation! LEDs use wayyy less power!

I really want to ride this. the waltzer near me has basically house lights I’m not even kidding they’re just bulbs so the ride isn’t in complete darkness
it looks cool and evey thing but i dont think i would enjoy those lights flashing all around me like that
When u look at it it looks fast but when u actually go on it it isn't that fast all the fun fair rides are shit ur better of going to Blackpool for the rides there or going to light water valley in North Yorkshire
