  • I tried water bottle base pour , It's amazing and fun to see paint flowing and taking different shapes . That soft green color is beautiful in person . I mixed all my paints in floetrol and little water if needed and no silicone in any of these . i used a water bottle base as my tool to make swirls. Layered all the paints in the 16 Oz measuring cup and poured on the bottle base.
    Hope you enjoy watching the process if so Please don’t forget to Thumbs up

    I like the way you got away from the basic bottle base design & allowed the colors, shapes & forms to have their own life unhindered! Well done! beautiful result!

    Do you any idea how far the paint would spread without such extreme tilts? I hate seeing so much of the color just roll right off. It turned out beautiful!!

    Love it! I see you also get cells when you don't always want them. I think its the Floetrol - cells up even without silicone.

      Deby at Mixed Media Crafts Thank you so much Deby, 😀Must be Floetrol. I need to change my recipe to make one good tree ring pour without cells😆

    Hi there from Canada! What size was this particular canvas used for the 16 oz of paint? :-) It turned out beautifully. So colourful! FUN!

    Super cool! Do you put a finish on your paintings?

    As per many previous videos, I am assuming all the colours are mixed to the same consistency with the pouring medium. Is it the different densities of the paint colours that create the cells then? I know there is a science to this somewhere! I have tried some pours without silicone, but did not achieve cells. This is another unique piece!

    • @pamgravett3758
      @pamgravett3758 6 лет назад +1

      Delores Barnes yes, it is definitely the density of the different paints that can cause cells, layered by transparency alternating with opaque or semi opaque, the same effect can be achieved only using water and no pm but not advisable because it may crack.

      @ArtbyFarz  6 лет назад

      Thanks for the explanation🙂 I won't advice only water either, i add floetrol to my mix and never had problem with cracking.

    lovely pour, very spring like and great how you got cells with just the Floetrol. did you apply any heat to it at all? beautiful:)

    • @ArtbyFarz
      @ArtbyFarz  6 лет назад

      Thank you. No I didn't use heat at all.

    Love love love this - what order did you layer the colors and were there multiple layers of the colors? Meaning only one layer of blue, one layer of red, one layer of light green, etc?

    • @angeladooly8511
      @angeladooly8511 6 лет назад +1

      I would love to know the order of layering, also. This is the prettiest bottle pour that I have seen so far.

    Did you torch or use heat gun to get rid of any air bubbles?

    • @ArtbyFarz
      @ArtbyFarz  6 лет назад

      No , I didn't use torch/ heat gun because there wasn't much air bubbles.

    Nobody puts a barrier around the canvas to stop the paint what a waste and you like the painting sad

      if you want the little sides of the painting included in the ornament, you have to let it flow over the boarders. I think it is lovely like this versus a black or white sideline. But tastes are different.
