@ I had to wait 5 months on delivery, luckily it arrived before floods in Valencia and before they discontinued producing it in Lucid Red, it’s my 11th. Ford and really is great to drive it’s an ST-Line X FHEV.
I’ve had my ST line X FHEV 180bhp dessert island blue with upgraded Matrix led for 3 months. A great looking car. Handles like a focus. Lots of practicability with this suv.
How do you find the ride of the car - I had exactly the same car for a 24 hour extended test drive, I found the ride really harsh over pot holes and bad road surfaces.
@@rufdymond find the ride quite soft. I’ve got the 19inch wheels but I guess if they are the upgraded 20inch they would definitely be harsher on bumps and pit holes. Plus less rubber means more expensive tyre for some reason.
I’ve got the ST-Line X in Bursting Green with the Ecoboost petrol engine. Previously had a ‘22 plate Titanium with the diesel engine (also manual gearbox). Admittedly with my new Kuga I’m losing a few MPG but for me driving this vehicle is so much better than the previous one. The handling is great & this is much more responsive, along with a lot more useful vehicle features. Although this has the 1.5L engine it actually feels & looks like a Fast Ford from years ago. I’m very pleased with it 😊
Thank you for sharing your ownership experience on your Kuga! I am hoping to drive one next week with Ford and I will share this on the channel also. Happy you are pleased with yours 😊
Got a mk3 1.5 diesel in lucid red which I love. I like the torque and and was rather worried about the ecoboost engines and the wet belt...the 1.5 diesel is I'm informed by mechanic mates the best of the bunch ie most reliable.
I did love the Zetec trim. Titanium used to be the premium specification so for that to be the base model now I do see where you are coming from on that point 👍
100% agree a Kuga ST with the 2.3 Focus ST engine would be awesome. I currently have a 1.5 Puma ST which I do love but a Kuga ST AWD would be hard to resist. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be seeing too many more ST's now, the latest Puma ST is a 1.0 which I really don't like, and the Focus is being discontinued next year. Can see myself keeping the Puma ST for a long time as the future for Fast Fords is looking very bleak. Sad time to be a fast Ford fan 😭
I saw the Ford Kuga at Ford Fair this year it has a much better dashboard than the new Puma as a team of owner I do not like the new dashboard love the cougar
Had mine for 1 month now in Lucid Red (no longer available) super pleased with it.
Many congratulations on your Lucid Red Ford Kuga 😊🎊

Minor point, but why would the model mark on the vehicle be 'St Line' and not 'St Line X'?
It is a good point for sure 🙂
in my opinion, its a nice looking car but i think ford should bring the zetec trim level back to start the range off
I did love the Zetec trim. Titanium used to be the premium specification so for that to be the base model now I do see where you are coming from on that point 👍
I felt like Ford should have made a Küga ST, with the Focus ST MK4 engine but with AWD added.
That would be a great addition to the range for sure 😊

In USA Ford sells the Escape (Kuga) with 2.0 Ecoboost engine and 250 hp (I think). Users say it is terrific.
@@garrido58 Europe had the Küga with the 2.0 Ecoboost unit in the MK2, but we never got it in the UK apparently.
Sorry mate ,but you can add the sunroof as an optional extra.
Thank you for confirming. I did not see it as an option as I was checking and thought it was specific to the ST-Line X 👍
It needs a new steering wheel, multi-coloured ambient lighting and a more modern interior design.
