I'd love a description of the physical processes taking place on the chip. I have a pretty clear understanding of binary data storage down the level of a positive or negative electrical charge, but I have no practical idea what mechanism is used as a means to store or read a quantum state. What is happening mechanically at the machine level to manipulate this?
