No but actually. Utica is probably the platonic ideal of a conceptual queen blended with a fashion queen. Queens like her are what make me watch Drag Race.
In my opinion hands down the most shopstopping designer and sewer across all seasons. The sleeping bag hasn't left my mind since I first saw it.

Especially during the advert challenge the runway category was beast Couture while other queens came as beast characters utica was the only one to incorporate both beast and Couture in her runway and this was also the iconic episode of Kandy and her alien judy and the funniest thing of all was she actually paid some designer for that look
And then she landed in the bottom for no good reason and gave us one of my favorite lipsyncs 😭

I'm not a fan of Violet Chachki's sense of fashion because she bases it purely on what she's seen. She doesn't understand fashion at its fundamental level. Fashion is a statement, it's a show of skill, it's an art. It's not supposed to be explainable in one or two words. It's meant to have so many questions and to envoke thought. Violet could be a stylist. Utica could be a designer.
I want to scream about that crown look or her cathedral one from the rooftops.

I think the reason why she's underrated is because she is not as pretty nor as impactful as her clothes. She's a better designer than a model.
