I'm liking your suggestions so far, specially Airboy! It's a Bird is a book I've never read so I need to get on it! But ANGELA!!!!?" Angela? :) DAMN jealous of that 4 Kids HC. Keep them coming, Jess! This was great to see on your list. As far as my choices, I'll wait until your last video.
Great to see Black Mask getting in there with WCNGH and 4 kids! Fantastic indi books! Another fantastic video, great idea to do this, look forward to more! Big love!
Great suggestions! My suggestion for you to read would be Terminal Lance: The White Donkey. When I read it the book was deeply impacting and really impressed me with what it was able to do in one hardcover book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s into comics
Wow, thanks for replying! I really hope you enjoy the book man. You're definitely one of, if not the main reason why I've been getting into comics/graphic novels so it feels great to give back.
Excellent idea for a series of videos! Since you love Ellis, have you read his and Declan Shalvey's 6 issue Moon Knight book? Also, and I have no idea why it popped in my head, but the Marvel Secret Wars mini 1872 also came to mind. A short book with Marvel characters in the wild west. Full of Western tropes but executed very well and super fun. I think you'd dig it.
@@OmnidogsVault It's a great followup to Angela: Asgard's Assassin, same creative team. I loved it. And a character from Battleworld's Siege makes it there with some Walt Simonson favorites is all I'll say.
Jew Gangster by the late, great Joe Kubert, Smoke & Guns by Kirsten Baldock & art by Fabio Moon think Sin City for Cigarette Girls by AIT Planet Lar & finally the must read, Daytripper by Fabio Moon & Gabriel Ba both on writing & art.
Great video - I’m delving into the vault.
Oh great! There's lots of great collected editions in my vault! Not just omni's!
I really appreciate the variety of this list and that you imposed the exclusion of stuff like Absolutes!
thank you I'm glad you liked it!
This is really awesome & thanks for the shout out lol
Looks like I have a lot more books to add to my instocktrades wish list.

Have you read Green Valley by Max Landis? Its a lot of fun. Great reviews yet again.
Thanks! I will check out Green Valley!
Great list, I need to check some of those books out!!! You need to get the followup to Angela! :)
A few shorter "one and done's" that I enjoyed were Michel Gagne's " Zed: A Cosmic Tale" and "Dear Creature" by Jonathan Case.
I love Jonathan Case, I will get that book for sure!
Loved this 3 part of stand alone graphic novels . I look forward to reading I kill giants & Daytripper as I've heard nothing but great reviews.
Thx Jess cool books & have a great day.
Shirtless Bear Fighter is fantastic one and done book. I think you will love it.
Did you ever pick up Angela: Queen of Hel?
And she's back on Asgardians of the Galaxy by Bunn, the first trade is coming out soon. :)
I have not read Queen of Hel! Is it good?

Karnak has the same superpowers as my wife!

Nice list, Daytripper is in part 3 of this series!
Ya, I would definitely say Superman American Alien and The Red Son are must read. I would add We stand on guard by Brain K Vaughn to the list.
