They need to be in the Hall of Fame
This is true!!!!!! What the heck! 40 some years.
Glad to see you added Jerry Riggs... he's a bad ass and has been for years
In 1982, a band that I was already a big fan of released an album that had a song on it that very quickly became my all time favorite song, and they became my favorite band. 41 years later, 38 Special is still my favorite band and Caught Up In You is still the best song that I have ever heard!
I was 14 when Caught up in you was released, timeless classic for me. 55 now where does the time go 😮😮😮
I wish I was there!
The hardest working Southern rock band today! There the best! After all these years they still kick ass!
Automatically Hall of fame😊
38 is the best!!seen them many time in my life and still sound great!!!!
I been a fan of 38 since the 1980s now at 58 I’m still a fan.. I had the exact thing happen to me like in the tune Rocking into the Night ,thanks for all the great music 🎸
Thanks for this wonderful upload. Blessed to have grown up with .38 Special. To have them still rocking today is incredible. Don Barnes is ageless.
Sounds great still
I knew Jerry before he got famous!!!! From Knoxville Tennessee!!! I first saw him on a telethon and he was playing a Japanese Les Paul copy!!! Great to see him playing!!!
Don you Rock 🎸 38 special still kicks @$$ ❤🤍💙🇺🇲⚡
I love this band. Miss Donnie. Had a chance to see them 5 times and live all of their songs but Second Chance is one of my favorites.
They forgot to mention the greatest .38 Special guitarist....JEFF CARLISI !!!!!!!
Thanks for sharing this!
You're welcome. I'm glad I filmed it.
Jerry rigs killing it vocal& guitar so dam tasty his tone is amazing asset to the band
Dead crowd. They sound Great !!! Come on people this is 38 Special !!!!
Thank you. Great quality video. Great job and I absolutely love this because today Don Barnes turns 70 years old. Happy birthday
Hey. Way cool
I still never understand living here in Florida where people sit down at a concert especially a concert like this. I have health issues and I have to sit most of the time but I stand up for a song like this
You got that right. I saw them for the 2nd time 1 year ago at a casino in Phoenix Told the people behind us I would be standing with my arms in the air the entire concert. Most people sat there like fuddy daddies. What a waste
They deserve better audiences than this... saw them twice, once in an arena and another on club circuit much later... floor was always full of pretty ladies when they played their hits.
Just saw them on 30 September at Emerald Queen Casino, that crowd was much larger (at least 1800) and we still were very energetic and was on our feet.....this crowd looks like something at the park on Sunday, too laid back
I hear you, I went to see one my all time favorite bands too and it was seating only, ugh...I had to go find a little spot by some stairs where my feet barely fit LOL just so I can dance! Sometimes you just can't help but get up and dance 💃
@@jyes23.And fuddy mommies,too?
Love this band Jerry Riggs is huge asset to the project even the (OLD) folks loved them very cool.
Jerry Riggs seems like a nice dude and I am happy for him, he's doing a great job ... but I still miss Danny Chauncey. He has such a great technique and touch. Really refined from year 30 years of doing this gig. He's a good guy too. Just glad to see 38 still rocking! When I was a kid, I was afraid I'd never have a chance to see them. Shows how much I knew then : )
I love Jerry Riggs playing and such a great guy.
I liked Danny better, more true to the studio sound.
Try standing, and rocking!!
Jerry adds so much to this band!
I saw him with Pat Travers at a club called Summers On The Beach in Ft. Lauderdale,FL. In 1983 or ‘84 and they F’ing absolutely TORE THE ROOF OFF the place🔥
Omg I remember Summers! I still live in Ft Lauderdale, my how things have changed.
I'm about to see them soon. Second time in only two months, and I have two picks Don threw to me in September
That's cool!
Cool take me
Just seen them tonight five blocks from my house at waterfest for the third time Oshkosh Wisconsin
.38 Special is so good. Timeless music! Keep on Rockin!!!!
Riggs
Donnie still with the band?
Which set was this?
I see now that it was the first set....can't believe people were going to leave?!? I think the second set was better
@@chrisbeaman8520 What was better about it?
@@LoveFineArts I think don's voice sounded better
@@chrisbeaman8520 It was a little rough in the first set. I'm sorry I missed that. Thanks for sharing.
@@LoveFineArts chris did nothing!!!38 is great dont listen to that d bag!!!
audience is comatose...lmao!
So sad to see a band like them performing in front of a half dead crowd sitting on chairs.
band
Agreed.
Walt Disney originally envisioned Epcot, which stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, as a model community that would be a test bed for city planning and organization. What's 38 Special have to do with that?
