Really impressive content not to mention riding with his pops! Glad this young man see the value in it, one he will tell own kids about this wonderful project
Thanks! As I get older/busier its harder to go out riding with my original riding buddy so I was super happy my dad and I got to share this experience.
@@madjack_757 yea mine never rode a motorcycle but we did other things together. Miss mine everyday. Your channel should do well. Good commentary and straight forward. Well done

It has been my experience that no matter how loaded the bike is with camping gear, clothes, tools, etc., there is always room to strap on a six pack! Great episode!
Wow, awesome.....Stunning visuals, editing, soundtrack and vibrant colour!! Your narration is perfect.Siskel and Ebert gives ...👍👍 All the best from Canada!!
We met at Touratech , so glad we stumbled on your content. Your 30 hr ordeal is getting lots of views. We hope to do the IBDR so this is inspiring. Cheers and thanks, Subscribed!
Im stoked I got the chance to meet you! I'm glad you're liking the channel and the IDBDR is an amazing route. You'll really enjoy it. It is definitely worth taking time to see the whole thing and not rush the ride. Yeah! I think the 30 hour journey series has over 100K views at this point!
Such a cool experience to share with your dad. I wish I could have gotten that experience before my dad passed away. Keep those values close to you and you will do well in life. Great job editing and videoing. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Someday maybe you will be able to have these experiences with children of your own!! Thanks for the support! I am glad you have been enjoying the series.
Watching this series. Being a local Idahoan. I remember the storms this during this time last year. The weather was unusually wet. You planned right mother nature has a mind of her own. I love Idaho. I recognize every stop. Would love to do this ride with my sons. You guys are truly blessed.
Nature has a tendency to do as it chooses.. I do feel pretty blessed to have Idaho be my backyard and I am glad I got to share that adventure with my dad🤟🏼
Great video man! In 2022 a group of 7 of us rode it from Canada south. Lost a rider to a bad crash just north of Riggins, never got to camp along the river on the sandy beach. Missed the wildfire closures by one day! Love the IDBDR!
Dude. Great work on putting this all together. Ewan, Charlie & their high dollar support team should feel humbled. (granted, they produced some awesome content, and deserve some props - but your budget is probably "slightly" different) After binging on the 1st four episodes, I'm absolutely stoked to see more. Excellent camera work, dedication to telling a real experience, great use of music and narration. Consider me a fan. 👍
Thanks so much for the support! A lot of time goes into these videos and the comments always make it worth it. The one thing I can say is at least we didnt have any support trucks/vans! True adv style riding. Next episode is one of my favorites! Hope ya enjoy 🤙🏼
I started watching your Idaho BDR video and realized our group had gabbed some of you stickers you left at the blue house to put on our bikes. We did the Idaho BDR the week after you were there pretty cool.. We had the fire issues and lots of rain the first day.. Great job on the videos 👍
@madjack_757 I've done alot on that bike, did a ghost town adventure on it last year,940 miles and some absolutely rough stuff mixed on there, did 1100 miles to s.d following an old railroad too lol.this year I'm gonna redo a trip I did with the family in 19,we're gonna cross montana diagonal from s.e to n.w corners on gravel, will be more then 1300 miles of gravel and 2200 miles when I get home.im currently outfitting the klr for this trip now.
Excellent series and such a treat to share it with your dad. BTW, what type of sleeping cot is that? Looks pretty slick the way it disassembles and packs down.
Thanks! I was really happy I got to share the experience with him. The cot is a Thermarest Ultralite cot and it really is in my mind, one of the best camping beds. It is ridiculously easy to pack and decently comfy!
Thanks! Off the top of my head I can’t remember the brands. When I get back to my shop I’ll let you know! I really really loved them though because they were incredibly easy to pack.
The cot is probably one of my favorites since it’s so light and easy to pack. However, there’s zero insulation so you lose a lot of body heat from underneath you.
6:47 I thought you were gonna put another hole in the bus😂😂 Curious as to what your carry weapon is on these rides if you don’t mind? I have a Supermini Supermoto and am going to get another carry gun for while riding it.
Hahahaha! I carry an MP Shield plus 9mm. I really like it, its light weight, and super easy to carry. I will say though, I've thought about carrying a bigger cartridge in some of these places where I ride. Thought about getting a 357 magnum woods gun but they're so pricey :/
@@madjack_757 Thank you man! I had a hunch it was An M&P by the Extra finger spot on the magazine. i currently have a M&P shield .40 and they make barrels for 9mm or .357 sig that retain the same spring! 9mm shield+ for in town and .357sig in my .40 for 4 legged creatures is probably gonna be my route. Thanks again, awesome series keep up the good work!
@CB_On_The_Beat for sure dude! Maybe I ought to throw a new barrel on for the time being then.. I’ve had a couple run ins with bears now but honestly the two legged creatures scare me the most at night. Hope ya enjoy the rest of the videos I have out rn! Got some more in the works 🤟🏼
@@madjack_757 I do believe that you can only Downsize from .40 to 9mm or .357 sig. That’s just what i’ve heard , you cannot Upsize a 9mm model With a .40 barrel, i’d imagine the slide doesn’t fit the slightly thicker barrel, I am totally unsure of the 9mm to .357sig conversion tho.
Dude, I had to stop this 3 minutes in, I have complemented you on your videography and editing, today I noticed your into music and how it fits perfectly with the images. Secondly, you have a great voice for narration. It’s no wonder Sterling from @motorcycletravelchannel nominated you for the recognition that you received. I am be serious about your work.
