As Geoff mentioned, he is a "communicator" and he had to be in order to be so successful as an Appeals Attorney. He is the only "theorist", instructor, teacher etc., that can paint a perfect picture in my mind using only words. That's an amazing talent which requires not only verbal skills but it requires extraordinary knowledge of the subjects in question. If you interview him all you have to do is hand him the football and he will run with it for 3 hours in an intelligent, logical direction. You just sit back and relax and admire what you are hearing. Sad that so many people don't know about him because according to Geoff, The PGA of America has basically blacklisted him for not playing by their rules. Finally, the only critique I often hear about him, is that he is too technical. That's true for many who are not technically inclined or just too lazy to digest the information. They want a quick fix without a lot of extras. They want a Nick Faldo type, who has catch phrases like "belly button to the target" or " wrap it around your neck like Gregory Peck". As Phil Mickelson once said "To be great at golf you have to be incredibly smart or incredibly dumb". Can you guess which type Geoff attracts ?😁

Yep - nobody wants to listen to Geoff's way and they all want to listen to someone who's famous or was out there once doing it - they don't want to listen to facts and do the work. It's a case of marketing trumps all. The last thing marketeers want to hear is Geoff telling everyone that the putter doesn't really matter - it's all about his four fundamentals. Marketeers want you believe in buying new putters regularly, that new is better, that expensive is good. You can see exactly why Geoff pissed off everyone in golf - he won't play along with the money-making tactics of the golf business
Absolutely the description of how to use the egg shape of the eye and the corner to get the eyeball straight out of the face is magic. Lock the eyeball in and turn the head. Made 7 straight putts easily immediately! This guys knows what he’s talking about!
Wow - Geoff Mangum for 3 hours - this is a must-have recording. Geoff is obsessive about putting in every way - and controversial - he's a World-level expert. You need to read Geoff's book as well. There's no other book anything like it.
I’m definitely going to try what he said. I’ll have to listen to this a couple more times. Personally, I don’t think he’s the best communicator. Maybe I’m just a bad listener. I don’t really agree with his takes on aimpoint and other teachers.
