    Is August a decent time to still catch halibut

  • @gabrielneedham7848
    @gabrielneedham7848 2 года назад +1

    Is it 1 halibut a day or 2 a day?

    • @more_to_come
      @more_to_come  2 года назад +2

      One above a certain length and then one " slot fish" had to be over a certain length and below a certain length. The boat crew handle all the measuring so they were sure it was correct

    as a fisherman ill never understand how someone with a brain can feel any accomplishment, if they were taken by pros out to a spot and basically spoon fed the fish

      The point of going on a charter is so that you can get a chance at reeling in multiple species you wouldn't normally get to catch without having a boat that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars. Another reason is because as an alaskan it is important to full your freezer. And if you don't think catching fish after fish isn't fun than you truly aren't a fisherman.
