I hope it works for you. Just a quick note: Since I made this for the grandkids, the plan was for it to get them wet. For your tennis tournament, people may not wish for that. If you are wanting more of a fine mist spray instead, please consider using these misting heads instead: amzn.to/3huOCbI - They cost more, but provide a very fine mist instead of a spray. If you still want to use the cheaper sprayers, they will still work although you might not want to use quite so many. That will reduce the amount of spray. Best wishes for your build...and for your tournament!

The tournament was actually canceled this year due to social distancing but still possible we can do something later...it's still pretty hot here even in Sept/Oct but we will have it for next year regardless. Thanks Jim. We did this today. Our alterations included bypassing the side bar misters. Our water pressure is pretty low. I'm probably going to change all the misters to all blue (45 degree sngle). Other than that, it works wonderfully. Itsas considerably more than 30 bones to build... but in the 100 degree heat of Missouri/Kansas... it's worth it. Thanks for posting. My 6 year old loves it.
Wow! That’s pretty expensive. They must have raised the price for that since I believe I only paid about $8 when I bought it. My advise would be to go to your local big box store and buy one there instead. That’s a fairly common item you should be able to find easily. Just be sure to get the correct size. Good luck and have fun when you build it!

Carissa Emett If you used the correct size drill bit and tap, they should screw right in. My fingers were a bit sore since some of the misters had sharp edges on them though. I used a pair of needle nose pliers when my fingers got sore.
@@nicholasperno5293 This is a great tip - maybe running the tap thru the hole longer carves out more precise threads in the pvc pipe, and clears out the shavings better. Those misters are pretty small. This mister project is such a great idea.

i made this for my kidos this weekend, my only struggle was getting the misters in, they were buggers!! Any pointers?

I noticed if you go all the way in with the tap to the point where it touches the other side of the pipe they go in much smoother.
