About ricochet chances on helmets. May be this information was not on english devblogs, but here it is:
In Tarkov there is no real armor as physical objects, which collides with bullets and then, deppends on its qualities, calculates the result (e.g. "War Thunder") . Instead when you dress up armor or helmet you have got something like a buff on specific health bar (chest, arms, belly, etc.) wich gives you some damage resistense (spesified on type of armor you have been dressed).
So there is no specific part of helmet that can or can't rickoshet. It's pure chanse implemented to all protected health bars.
Devs are looking forward to change it, howeve, as for now, they stuck in engine and net code capabilities.
A military helmet is not done for make bullets ricochet on himself but most likely for tank some schrapnel or sometimes for tank a certain type of bullets.

@@TheLevitatingFleem it’s one of the sanitar guards, they sometimes have really good gear but regular scavs can also spawn body armor up to tier 5 with a Gzhel
Ye ammo has its own ricochet chance and usually the better ammo does have a higher ricochet chance usually. Which is why decent ammo youl find people always getting lucky l. And helmet ricochet is also just a chance on its own as well

if you have your audio really fckin loud you can hear them yell when they get hit over the explosion/gunshots. its a lot easier to do in game ime

tarkov literally needs open world for all the changes to work. like a huge amount if not all of the players who bought the game BEFORE the twitch event knew what it was meant to be and advertised as. people expect better dayz because thats what it was advertised as
