The Duets era in 2012 was much superior to the 2016-2019 era, where her belts were weak and she developed her head voice further. Duets was around when her previous relationship was going well and she was happy. Now she's back better than ever and her upper belts are stronger than ever, after the divorce. It's crazy how she kept incredible for two decades, but it's even crazier how she's still improving after all this time. She is unstoppable.
The way she was constantly mixing those high ass belts during Duets was insane. I remember watching it when I was like 12-13 and loving her on there but I didn’t really discover her and her music until Piece by Piece

Her earlier days were always a hit or miss with technique and even pitch. Also, the G#5s in ‘Miss Independent’ are actually A5s! Albeit a pretty flat A5 for the 2000s example.
I VOTED my Ass off for her on Idol and cannot believe ive never seen her live!! Ive never been to many concerts cuz i never had friends that went to live shows really, then saw the Backstreet Boys DNA tour FINALLY 1st time in 2022, then BARELY got Taylor Swift ERAS tour tix, saw PINK and Mariah Carey Xmas!! I need to See my girl Kelly!!!!
