Next time that’s exactly why I will do. I’ve since moved in to a different controller with its own lcd display but I did notice the same thing. The thing is the motherboard didn’t have markings on it so I didn’t know which color was which connection. I do know the color codes were not the same as I matched the colors to the pinning on the old lcd display and it still didn’t work.

Una pregunta. Tengo un patinete con un display estilo moto en el medio del manillar con acelerador estilo moto. Me gustaría saber si puedo quitar ese display y ese acelerador y poner display con acelerador de gatillo sin necesidad de cambiar controladora o hay que cambiarla?
el display se tiene que cambiar con el controller.. si se puede cambiar el acelerador solo, sin cambiar piesas . nadamas ttienes que saber cuales cables se pueden usar para hacer el cambio. ohalas eso te ayuda .
Tried that didn't work because they didn't follow the same color scheme and there were no markings on the mother board to reference either. I ended up just getting a complete set of controller and lcd display so I know they work together. You were on the right track tho. If the color scheme for the wires would have been the same from my old lcd Display to this new one then that would have worked just a matter of re-pinning the plug to match.
You could unscrew back of the display and see which wires are soldered to which pins. And compare with old one. Incase someone have this issue in a future.
why does the screen flash the red symbol i just swapped out my display bc it broke but now the scooter wont run and that red triangle keeps flashing. please some help
If you didn't swap out your lcd display for the sand exact one you prosit shirts of your Contriller and now it can't communicate with the lcd. Most likely because the wiring isn't the same from one lcd display to the other

open the old one and the new one to see the configuration of cables inside and match them

Bro you are using different models, first is LH-100 second and therd TF-100
Cant get tf-100 LCD to switch on and it's a new 1
Cut the connectors off and rewire the correct colours

You need to replace it with another LH-100, TF-100 won't work.
Tried the LF 100 also. Didn't work either.

You should just get the controller with the display together so you know it got with it.
