Exactly sonic fans are never happy with what they get. They complain that sonic movie 2 didn’t have enough human scenes and now they complain that there’s too many human scenes in the knuckle show.

I don't care what Sonic Twitter or reviewers says about the Knuckles series. I personally think this series will be the best Sonic TV show that will get us more hype for Sonic Movie 3. I also think Sega will give us the official cast for Sonic Movie 3 after the release of the knuckles series. And I could see Sega giving us an official announcement for Sonic Toys Party in May, since Midori say in her leak that the game would release at the start of summer so what better time it is for Sega to give us a full game announcement next month?
*(Edit) I know how bad this comment aged but I still think Sega will give us a Sonic Movie 3 trailer in early June or in a Sonic Central. I could also see a full cast announcement on Sonic Central. Now as for the mobile games like I said Midori said that "Sonic Rumble" it's new, and final leaked game will release at the start of the summer so my prediction is that Sega will announce this game in early June or in a Sonic Central. As for the Knuckles Series in my opinion I enjoyed it. It was a very fun Sonic Movie spin off series 8.9/10 for me. I know there are some who hate the series all I can say is you are entitled to your own opinion and, I respect it. And no Knuckles isn't the best Sonic Series imo Sonic Prime still holds the number one spot Sonic Boom is second, Knuckles is 3rd I never watched Sonic X.*

they took a kotaku review, aka one of the less belieavable gaming reviews sites, (and for all we knows,Kotaku is one of the sites who watched just the first 4 episodes,because some watched all 6 ,others just the 4 ones of the premiere) for pure gold when way more other sources say totally another thing. I tried to make it notice to another sonic-tuber to don't only rely on Kotaku and its sister websites for the reviews and to wait before hopping on the hate wagon,i just got attacked by him and his "lets boycott the show "fans... I've been in this fandom since i was a child,and such things still surprise me in negative. 😥
Edit:honestly glad to read in most of the comments, that people are way more open to give it a watch themselves than trust random reviews on twitter. No matter if in the end it will be good, bad, mid, a masterpiece or a disaster, we aren't brain rotten creatures yet, we have to judge with our own eyes.
Edit 2: It came out and yes,it has its partial-problems already addressed by the relieable critics,probably due to cgi budget. but is nowhere near horrendeous as Kotaku said (KNUCKLES IS BARELY IN HIS OWN SHOW,no,the real "issue" is one episode that thought still has some HEAVY implications inside),is a fun time,yes it could have been better but is a nice series and is worth it over all. Paramount will need to address the cgi problems for future projects 100%, but i honestly liked it. So yeah twitter and some youtuber really threw a fit over nothing and keep throwing a fit over nothing if not just a nice show that people can like,dislike or be simply neutral about it,and also today we learnt to dont trust anyone apart our own eyes.

I have trust in paramount, they have handled the sonic franchise a bit better than sega has before frontiers released, atleast we have knuckles in the show, at least this has effort put into it from what i saw, we still got sonic 3 and keanu Reeves, fat eggman 🥚, jim carrey, and an sa2 inspired movie, i trust and hopefully others do that paramount WILL COOOKK

I think what sonic fans need to know is that these films are NOT direct adaptations of the games. This is a TV show loosely based around knuckles’ backstory from SA1 and wades relationship with his family. With a franchise like sonic, there are just too many stories and games to justify a film or TV show based around a singular game or piece of media. You can’t just have “sonic cd: the movie” or “sonic unleashed: the movie” that’s just not how it works in Hollywood. What they CAN do however, is take elements from the games and certain subplots from the games and change some things up to keep it fresh. It’s what they’re doing with movie 3. Do I wish they included more elements from the games? Yes, of course, but how we stand with the movie universe right now, I think the knuckles show will probably appeal to MOST sonic fans.
Besides, everytime someone takes 100% the script from a game it ends up in a boring copy paste long movie.
These "fans" clearly now cap about adaptations.

@@KgEclispe252 We’re still getting that. From the looks of it, knuckles will STILL go on a journey of self discovery. Wade will just be there to help him. Besides, you can’t just have a show ENTIRELY based around a red talking echidna in a live action setting. They need to add characters that are live action to balance out the animated stuff. From what the critics are saying, although knuckles isn’t in the show as much as maybe he should, everything else is pretty good. Plus, none of us have actually SEEN the show yet, so we can’t make any proper assumptions about it until it’s out. In my opinion, if the show is good and the characters are fleshed out (including wade) then I don’t care if knuckles is only in a small chunk of it. This show will be GOOD, and I trust the show-runners.

@@KgEclispe252you can have two main characters and still make it work. Knuckles does still have a predominant role in his own show, that’s why it’s named after him. I’m not saying the show should be focused solely on the humans, what I’m saying is that I understand why the show runners did this. I can understand both sides of the argument, but I think most fans will like this show because from what I’ve seen, the human scenes do relate back to knuckles and wade. But then, none of us fans have seen the show yet, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

@@Leon_wolfren The thing is, casuals are the ones that are generating a majority of the box office revenue for these. It's exactly what several journalists have been saying it is. Plus, I'm not a hardcore Sonic fan. I'm more of a casual fan.
I do enjoy some of the games, but there has to be more to them than just running fast and spinning into things. I'm one of those people that likes to know why I'm doing something in a game. And I like continuity in my stories. I like seeing how the next part of a story ties into the previous part.
Also, the movies have given us one of the best versions of Sonic probably in the history of the franchise, by giving him actual character development and internal conflict, things that his game counterpart sorely lacked (most of the time). Both the first two movies have done this.
I'm a little worried that Knuckles might lack this aspect. But I'm pretty sure Sonic 3 won't. But I'll still watch Knuckles and if it turns out to be just a bunch of filler as I suspect it will be, I'll enjoy it for what it is.
They would put real life graphics and enough screen time for all the character and extremely good gameplay in a sonic game and the fanbase would still complain about the smallest thing known to man

The biggest reason that I think that people are mad is because they didn’t get to see Rouge or the chaotix in the Knuckles show. I’m just confused why people are saying that Knuckles only gets less than half of screen time in Knuckles show. The biggest problem that I think people have with the show is just the human characters and that’s something that I think what holds the Sonic movies back. 70 score is honestly a good score for a show. Now I’m going to have to see the show for myself when it releases to see what’s good and what’s bad.

There has been a lot of humans in the knuckles trailer But was sonic movie 3 trailer the critics have said the only human that shows up the most is egg man apparently the entire trailer is literally CGI :)
I would see what the difference is between the movies that did better with fans but not with critics and the show that did better with critics than with fans, and identify what fans and critics gravitate towards. Then going forward, try to balance those elements out. Though I would lean towards fans as that’s the purpose for this new universe. Whatever they liked more in KNUCKLES, keep doing that big only alongside whatever made fans happy previously.
And let’s be real here. We know wtf is going to make fans happy. More game characters, more action, higher stakes, cool moments, game elements, and reference to iconic storyline beats. Also music but that seems to be a lost cause. Shame since Sonic music is very fitting to the silver screen.

Knuckles missing from half of a show called Knuckles isn't just hating or fans getting mad as I'm seeing a lot of people call it. Compare it to Peacock's TED series, Ted is present for the overwhelming majority of the time and is just as important as John. The Ted/John balance is what the Knuckles show should have gone for if it wanted to include Wade that badly, what they did DOES sound bad.
There's some pretty heavy denial vibes. I understand people are HOPING the show will be amazing on its own terms and they'll be able to ignore it. But it very likely won't, and that's when we'll see peoples true reactions.

The Knuckles show is not much of a Sonic show. From the beginning its been marketed as Knuckles teaching Wade so of course Wade is going to be the main character of the show. Its ment to be a spin off of sorts and as long its somewhat relevant to Sonic and funny then I will enjoy the show.
That literally makes know sense the show is called Knuckles and Knuckles is at the face of marketing. So why hasn't Wade been marketed or placed on any posters if he's the main character? The main characters always gets promoted in marketing and is the lead on posters used during marketing

Based on what I’ve heard it seem like we are still getting things from the game In name only for example the black arms not being aliens but rather arm dealers. This is something I’d expect from movie one when the universe was still afraid of having sonic elements. However in a post movie 2 world I expected paramount to be done with the in name only stuff and commit being more accurate. Accuracy don’t make a show or movie good so we’ll see show the show turns out
Though I do prefer it when Sonic characters are the main focus in Sonic media (be it games or shows/movies), if the show will be fun regardless I'll be OK with that.
I don't necessarily need Knuckles to be the main focus of the Knuckles show for it to be good. If it tells a fun story with good characters, I'll enjoy it.
That's why I still like Sonic movie 1 regardless. Though the Sonic-ish stuff isn't as main focus as it is in Sonic movie 2, I like the bonding story it has with the cop and the fights with Robotnic.

I’m of the opinion that we’ll just have to wait and see. The idea of the Sonic movie franchise branching off could either be fantastic or terrible, let me explain. If it goes the route of giving all kinds of characters their own shows and movies, then it will be amazing. However, if it goes the route of the MCU, and just half hazardly chucks way too many movies and shows around, it could be disastrous.

Hey, my brother has a friend who has a friend who works on the animations for the game, and he said that this update is UNFINISHED it was gonna be for Sonic Movie 3 with shadow joining aswell (shadows model is done already) but last second paramount told them to release the update early for the Knuckles TV show and so the movie skins reuse animations and use stock photos because of how last second paramount told them to release them early :/

But the article in question is from 1. an unrelieable source. 2.just one of the critics reviews that came out. 3.was believed by twitter fans without thinking twice just because it was the first article. 4.we have no idea if this article is from one of the sources that watched all 6 episodes or just the 4 episodes premieres. 5.This Article depicts the series like an obscenity,when the most "negative" from trustworthy journals (personal blogs excluded) says it could have done better but is still a fun watch. I mean, if you're gonna make a six episode mini series about one of the colorful cartoony character with their name in the title but have the show mostly focus on another character entirely then yes people have the right to be pissed. That's what we call false advertisement. Doesn't matter if wade was brought up in plot synopsis as a secondary/sidekick character, he's not the title character of the mini series. If nobody liked chris thorndyke taking all the screen time in sonic x what makes you so sure anyone will take having wade take focus away from knuckles?
Now we the audience won't know for sure what the show will be like until it comes out but if it does turn out to focus on wade more then people have every reason to be angry.

I really do hope that this series and Sonic 3 will please both the critics and fans alike. I can only hope that the movie will be as much a success as 1 and 2. I really hope that Paramount will take into consideration the things Fans are saying and try to work things out in future titles.

I’ve seen the show. It’s not bad! It’s a bit rough in some areas (still don’t know what they were on when writing episode 4). And, aside from focusing on Wade too much, which could just boil down to being a TV budget so they couldn’t show Knuckles too much, I enjoyed it. It was hilarious and I’m hoping some stuff from it carries over to Sonic 3
People that don't know Sonic always claim that Sonic fans are always mad, well there is a reason for that, it's all the misleading and strange turns they keep trying to shovel into the games and retconing the lore again and again making it so if you know something about the lore, well it's usually wrong and every time we like a character their one shot characters at best. fan of Mephiles the dark? too bad. you like Infinite? too bad, you like Vector or Espio? that's too bad, all we get are cameos at best and characters we think are canon are not and those we think are not are now. Sonic is just everywhere, I like Wade but I wanted to watch Knuckles FOR Knuckles. Nobody thinks about how hard it is to be a Sonic fan when all we want is to have a good time with our childhood heroes and villains and not have to be confused about every little detail. we don't know if Sticks is from Boom or not anymore thanks to Ian Flynn's "Cameos" Tikal's story is just a mess now. Chaos was once a god but now an alien. the Chaos emeralds were from another reality, that's what the special stages were in the first place, now their just from space. it's getting annoying trying to filter it all. Even Sonic's arm color is a debate to this day because Sega just makes the weirdest choices.
the reason why i'm not as mad is that including the main cast, there are a solid amount of characters in the series. If Knuckles is on screen for 76 mins out of the 172, then Wade is probably on screen for 50 mins, Sonic will probably not be on screen for a large amount of time so about 8 mins, Maddie, will be on screen for about 10 mins, and Tails will probably get the least screen time of like 6 minutes. And The villians (3 of them) will probably be on for 5 minutes (probably not). Pacamach will be on screen for about 2 minutes. So out of all the characters, Knuckles has the most screen time. If i'm wrong that's because I haven't seen the series.

I always stand by the pairing of Knuckles and Wade making for something hilarious, and I can totally see why the show producers went in that direction for the spin-off show. It is a bummer that we’re not getting any new major character(s) from the games, but I’m pretty they would’ve been given attention in the February trailer if that was the case.

I think no one should be jumping to conclusions until we all get a chance to see the show. I especially don't want to just take twitter users at their word we all know how that typically goes and I've seen alot of positive reviews for the show too. To be fair to paramount they've been upfront about Wade's involvment from the start for this series so nobody should be suprised about that now. Then there's all the clips we've been getting, not a single one has had a lack of Knuckles on screen and some seem to be from pretty late in the show too.

I personally didn’t have much of a problem with the movies but I really want to watch the new show and for it to go well while we wait for the 3rd movie because the movie could be a blast to watch or it could be terrible I just hope both knuckles show and sonic3 go well
I'm like at this point I didn't care which like its basically light hearted stuff on whats happening after movie 2 on what these characters are doing, what they have been up to and for starters I like the human characters kinda wanna get to know Wade along with these new characters and knuckles (the movie version) some sonic fan's expect too much these days

I'd give the Knucles show an 8/10 I had a super fun time with it. I like Wade and Knuckles a lot more now. The growth for both of them was really well done I would like to see more mini-series in the future.

I’ll never understand the Sonic Prime hate. Of any of its seasons. Best interpretation of Shadow we’ve had since ‘06 and anytime him and Sonic shared the screen together it was amazing. Animation and their fights were amazing. Plus their dialogue

All this news mentioned in this video actually surprised me. I’m also surprised that the critics on Rotten Tomatoes state that the Knuckles TV Show has about 70%, and both Sonic movies are around the 60s. Some of this makes sense on why Sonic fans are mad about the show, and the fact that Knuckles only appears half the run time? This might make it feel like an alternative version of Sonic 3 or something, but as a show. That’s a “might” to me. I’m not saying that this might become movie 3. The show does look amazing, but I hope this doesn’t end up being a flop. I’m seeing a lot of split reactions for the show, with some people saying it’s good, and other think it’s pretty bad. Part of me knew that something like this would happen, and I’m not super excited and hyped for the show, but I am interested in it. Looks we’ll have to see what happens in 3 days.

Knuckles not being in every scene is a good thing.

The Sonic cinematic universe is about more than the Mobians at this point. It is about how a very grounded world reacts to the introduction of the Mobians. Thus by virtue, all characters within this world are now "Sonic characters", and those closest in proximity to either the Mobians, Robotnik, or G.U.N. have the most changes in their lives. The movies and show work well because they focus on two things: character development and consequences.
This does not bother me , we will just have to wait to see if its fire yes or not, maybe their not cooking this much cause their spending more time on movie 3, although they should have more sonic charcter screen time, also if they dont have what sonic fans want, cope
