    Love my Accuquilt machine. Getting older, I needed some way of helping me cur accurately and this has been fantastic. It cuts down on so much time cutting fabric and I can rely on the shapes being accurate every time. I bought the English paper piecing blocks and I really love them as I don't have to go out and buy shapes or print shapes and I can cut and prep so many at a time that I have a pretty good stash of shapes prepped for sewing together that I can take with me when I travel and keep sewing. I have the 2" strip cutter also and so I no longer have to spend money on pricey jelly rolls. I buy bolt ends and use those to create my own... Awesome product. Great company.

      Woohoo! You’ve found the perfect solution for you that will extend your ability to enjoy this magical craft 😊. I haven’t ventured into English paper pieceing. But if I do, I’ll for sure buy the dies because I can’t even imagine doing the process without the AccuQuilt system. Thanks for sharing your story 😊

    Girl yes! I love my Go Big! And no more dog ears is what sold me on accuquilt as well as the accuracy in cutting. I don’t have the 9” but have 6, 8, 10 and 12 qubes with the companion sets. I use the 6 and 8 the most. Best investment ever.

      I agree best investment ever 😍. The Go Big! saved me from giving up on quilting. Rotary cutting was to stressful & inaccurate for my taste 😂. So glad you enjoyed the video. I hope you stay tuned for more tutorials & projects using the Accuquilt system!

    What size of the Go Qubes do you use the most, and why? Trying to decide....

    • @TalohaStudios
      @TalohaStudios  10 дней назад

      Hi👋🏽. Thanks for your question 😊. I own the 4, 6, 9 & 12 inch GoQubes. I use the 6 & 9 inch the most because they fit in my GoMe cutter. I own the GoMe, GoBig, and Studio2 cutters. The GoMe is my “go to” cutter simply because it’s the easiest for me to access in my studio. When deciding which size Qubes to invest in, there are 2 main considerations: 1. Which cutter do you own (Qubes up to the 9” will work with the GoMe) and 2. Which BOB dies do you own or are interested in purchasing. In other words, if you like/own BOB dies that finish to 8”, then you would invest in the 8” Qube sets because you’ll be able to combine your 8” BOB with your 8” Qube. That way, you’ll get the biggest bang for your buck😉. I hope this helps 😊. I’ll see you in the next video 👋🏽

      I hear ya. I recommend visiting the website weekly & signing up for their emails. That way you can see & get notified when they’re having a sale. That’s what I do, I wait until there’s a sale and then buy the dies. 😊

    Hi there - nice video! New subscriber here - I also do not bother with the lengthwise grain cutting and haven't had a problem yet. I currently have a Go cutter and recently picked up a Go Baby from an estate sale - eventually would like to upgrade to the Go Big.
    I found your video helpful and if you possibly could, I think if you added Accuquilt to your title your video would get a lot more views.
    Thank you for your video!

      You can buy them directly for AccuQuilt.com, Amazon, and you can probably find used ones on sites like EBay. If you sign up for the AccuQuilt emails, they’ll email you when they go on sale which is when they are the best price. 😊

    I have experienced an electric die cutting machine that didn’t even last a year. This is why I am hesitant about the investment if a Go Big. Would like to know how long viewers have had theirs.

      Oh, that wasn’t a good experience. I’ve had my GoBig for almost 3 years and no issues yet. That is, that weren’t user error 😂. What about the rest of you? How long have you had your GoBig and what’s been your experience? 😊

    I couldn’t help wondering if you’re getting paid to push the more expensive electric model. You made the hand crank look more difficult than it is, I have the Go! and it isn’t that difficult.

      Thanks for bringing that up. No. I do not receive any money, products, nor acknowledgement for AccuQuilt. I’m passionate about these products and decided to share my passion on RUclips. That’s great that you’ve had wonderful results with the Go! Please share any tips you have that could help others out. I’m interested in what you have to say 😊

    I have always been super fixated on getting my quilt cutting so accurate, like from a machine. But I never chose this machine because the dies are outrageously expensive and so limited. You can’t just size them, larger or smaller, you have to get different dies in order to do that. I’ve tried Sizzix which I like a lot. Here are so many sales for their dies that cost makes more sense, but not all of their dies are focused for quilting or even cutting Fabrics. The Brother SCAN N CUT is the machine that is probably closest to what I would use, but you have to do a lot of preparation to the fabric before you do any cutting so that’s a negative.

      I hear you on the price & limitations of the AccuQuilt dies. I have a Scan N Cut that I bought for partially for cutting quilting fabric & vinyl. I’ll make a comparison video between the Scan N Cut & AccuQuilt cutters. I don’t own a Sizzix so can’t compare that one. Thanks for sharing, other people may be experiencing this same dilemma & considering the Scan N Cut. I’ll make the video this weekend & post it Monday 😊
