    only thing I would change would be to add another supporting frame member in the middle of your long stretches of diagonals so that you don't lose an entire side if the two connecting points are lost.

    Everyone please note that this SHIP IS NOT POSSIBLE TO BUILD.
    The reinforced hull on the edges weight 1/10 of real pieces, like 2.7 tons per unit instead of 20-40 tons.
    *BUT* if you place the download link in ships file, it will actuıaly fool the game , this is cheating and an exploit, but you can use it, however if you decide to build it yourself it will be far worse.

      i guess it could still be done without all the reinforcements and maybe adding a couple d-30s to ge tmore power, thus making the evasions easier without the need of any armor

    100 and 130 are my two favorite guns in this game.
    100 is especially amazing at air defense, when loaded with flak. Shotgun pattern makes it easier to hit stuff coming in.
    130 is golden with AP. A pack of them'll shred through even Archangel armor reliably enough to knock the ammo bins.
    I tend to use both, if I can. 2 100s, 4 130s or something like that just works too well.

      I use 100mm main guns and 57mm secondaries for point defense. Both are dirt cheap, and have a decent rate of fire. The 100mm can punch holes in hard targets, while 57s chew through fighters, missiles, corvettes, and hull on larger ships that have been armor breached. I rarely use special ammo due to the cost, but 100mm flak shells are good for PD (but too expensive) and 57mm incendiary can burn down larger ships with enough hits. It's also the cheapest special ammo type, even cheaper than 37mm due to a lower fire rate.

      180 is also good if you get close and don't miss. 2-3 shots from 4 guns and gladiator is down.

    • @Kitkat-986
      @Kitkat-986 2 года назад +1

      @@PavelPirogov 180mm seems slightly anemic considering how slow the shells are. I prefer 130mm. 180mm struggles to land hits at range and doesn't seem quite as destructive as it should be.

    130mm is better with default ammo if you are patient however the special ammo are much more expensive than the 100mm, the AK 100 also has higher DPS...combined with the 130 being much more expensive you usually tend to sell it but it can be useful for weakpoint sniping as demonstrated.

    • @underviv64
      @underviv64 3 года назад +9

      actually with the ak you might end up shooting more of that "cheaper" ammo, a lot more on armored ships especially, the 130 also has less dps which means you have to playe safer, and above all things, while ak100 spam is fun and effective, 130 laser guided is the funiest shit ever

    • @theriveracis5172
      @theriveracis5172 2 года назад +1

      Accuracy is what sells the 130 to me. 100s are just all over the place. But that shotgun pattern can be exceptionally useful when you're loading with flak for air defense or just light killing.
      Also, I can't say this for certainty, but 130 seems to have better armor penetration with AP. Might just be the angles though

    • @TheReaper569
      @TheReaper569 2 года назад +4

      DPS doesnt mean evrything.
      d80 molots have a more stable fire, they dont spread like ak 100s, therefore more accurate fire at longer ranges, also higher damage pershot, meaning EFFECTIVELY D80 MOLOTS HAVE MORE DPS.

    A very well built ship. My new favourite for killing SGs.
    I take out 2 of it's guns at the campaign start to reduce costs.
    Thanks allot for sharing!

    Very nice. How are the logistics of this build? That is, repair costs after a battle like that, fuel endurance in the campaign battles and operating range?

    • @pedalpusher2008
      @pedalpusher2008  3 года назад +17

      It has a little over 1500 km range, I played with it in campaign and didn't run out of fuel in any battles so it seems enough. Repairs are cheap, although replacing frame can take a little longer than if it was armored. There are no fights this difficult in campaign at the moment though. Strike fleets are easy by comparison.

    Only bought the game last weekend but had freetime due to sick leave and spent like 60 hours in the game. I wonder if the recent patches changed that you don't have infinite fuel in the sandbox 🤔
    If not how are you getting seemingly infinite fuel?
