Hi, Mike. One thing I've learnt about DDR$ RAM is that the Primary timings have more to do with advertising then actual performance. It's the secondary and tertiary times are more important for improving performance. Those were the timings I spent the most hours tweaking, and still it rarely make more then a 5% difference.
I use the white crucial ballistix ddr4 in both my dters and my pcs. Get confused when ppl discuss the memory chips/dies. For me i think these lexar ddr4 look great with rgb. Thanks for reviewing Mike and Kath 🐈👍
Great value indeed, even with the silly low prices lately. Looks the business (even with the RGB) and performs too with that 3600 Mhz goodness. And as we all know RGB makes it go quicker :-) Thanks Mike and Kath.
My old PC has an old board that caps at 2400 and cannot exceed JDEC without hanging. It says it supports 2666 but I've been unable to. I've also checked and your memory here in this video is out of price in Canada. The best deal I've seen for RGB RAM DDR4 for noname chinese stuff is SP Silicon Power 16GB (8GBx2) at 52$ CAD. They are unbuffered. The Corsair Vengeance are 65$ but much better built. I would take the higher cost one here.
Yeah I've got those klevvs on my system, I love the design and the performance is expected, I'm pretty sure they use Samsung components inside as well. I got them for 20 pounds in eBay
Very nice ram for sure. I also love me some RGB. I'm still using my DDR3-1600 ram. Works fine. Thanks for sharing Mike and Lady Kath. Thank you Lexar for sending over the ram and nvme drive. Take care all. Cheers.
This is fairly unimpressive considering I got my DDR4 16gb kit back in ~2017 time and it was the same price. 3200mhz I believe. I'm aware prices have been all over the place since then, but I'd be happy to see these sell for less, especially considering it isn't even current gen anymore...
CAS latency is a more important value. 3200 CL 12 can be faster than 3600 CL 18. But you would only see the difference on bench tests. Normal day to day operation there's not a noticeable difference. Perhaps 3 to 5 FPS difference in gaming for example.

I was very happy to have another option now when looking at buying RAM for more cost conscious customers. More competition is good for us all

Is there much difference between 3200mhz and 3600mhz in performance?
