Childhood Sweethearts Demo Baskin and Copperfield

Looking forward to sharing with you some recently discovered songs John and I wrote in the late 60's early 70's that never actually made it to being studio recorded probably because at the time they were either considered to be of the wrong style or deemed by our record company 'Rama Records' just not good enough for the project in hand that being 'Baskin and Copperfield' which is probably the reason these songs had never materialised before. Still in the simple under produced home demo stage, complete with rough edges as they were originally first recorded on a domestic tape deck in my home in East London at the end of the 60's you can can get a sense of the period during which they were written. It was the age of 'Flower Power' and you can probably hear how influenced we were at the time by such great Artists as the 'Everly Brothers', 'Simon and Garfunkel' and 'Buddy Holly'. It was a great personal pleasure for me to have discovered and hear these songs after such a long time of them having been completely forgotten until now and to relive some of the personal memories they conjured up.
