Way back when I started getting involved with Turkish the available material online was scarce and often contained contradictory information and satisfying explanation about grammar or the usage of certain words was practically non-existent. It took me 20 min to get through the video 🤣🤣🤣. I have to thank you first for reminding me why I fell in love with the language. I paused and skipped back a few times with the purpose of listening again, analysing the word and sentence structure. The words that are spelled with and accent sign above them really throw me off! And how you combine words where and when. Especially when you refer to yourself and you coming it in with another word. It's very confusing. The video is very helpful and I really liked analysing it. The speed at which you speak was also a thing but it is good that you demonstrated the normal speed at which native speakers speak.

Dear maria, in street may more difficult or more advanced but don't worry. You can speak turkish. Already we will help you. Turks very friendly. I am turkish. For example: Ne?: what? Ad, isim: name. Adın: your name What is your name?: Adın ne? My name: adım. Your name: adın. His name: adı. Turkish language is difficult. I have realized now but you can do, i think.
That moment when I understood almost everything from the first try without the English subtitles even though I did not study Turkish at school. I watched a lot of Turkish series when I was younger and understood some expressions.
I can understand it all without subtitles but I couldnt say it myself...I spent too much time in Turkey listening to Turkish and not doing speaking practice :( your videos are a great help
Alright, so I'm American, traveling in Turkey, and recently had the whole "How old are you?" "I'm this old" "Wow, you look younger" conversation with some people i was introduced to. We all went around guessing each other's ages and then complimenting them based on how they look younger. 🤔 Someone's age is relatively private in America and, well, i felt kind of awkward. But this is perhaps a standard bit of introduction here.
Yeah in the US and Canada it’s weird we don’t mention our age when meeting someone new. But in middle eastern culture and Turkey (I’m guessing many more as well those are just what I know) it’s totally normal to ask for someone’s age when making introductions. In the Middle East it’s also a way of complimenting because we’ll often reply with “you look so young” or “wow 19, you’re so mature for your age” and so on. So yeah it’s perfectly normal for age to come up in a conversation! 😁

Great video, precise and easy to understand!
Glad you liked it
Excellent examples of dialogue to practice. I like your videos.
It is a bit hard to understand because Turkish is sooo different from the languages I already speak (English, Spanish, Russian). But anyways, this video was really helpful to me. I extremely need more videos like this one.
Videoların için teşekkürler.
❤❤❤
Dear maria, in street may more difficult or more advanced but don't worry. You can speak turkish. Already we will help you. Turks very friendly.
I am turkish. For example:
Ne?: what?
Ad, isim: name.
Adın: your name
What is your name?: Adın ne?
My name: adım.
Your name: adın.
His name: adı.
Turkish language is difficult. I have realized now but you can do, i think.
Thank you so much for this great video! It helps me a lot to listen to you, even though I slowed you down to 0,75, in order to get use to Turkish.
That moment when I understood almost everything from the first try without the English subtitles even though I did not study Turkish at school.
I watched a lot of Turkish series when I was younger and understood some expressions.

Thank you very much! A very beautiful language.
Alright, so I'm American, traveling in Turkey, and recently had the whole "How old are you?" "I'm this old" "Wow, you look younger" conversation with some people i was introduced to. We all went around guessing each other's ages and then complimenting them based on how they look younger.
🤔
Someone's age is relatively private in America and, well, i felt kind of awkward.
Nice, fell in love with this language
🤭🤭
I watch Turkish series everyday so it wasn’t hard to understand ... 😍
Başka bir Kastamonulu birinin böyle bir video yapması beni mutlu etti :D
