It was so much fun helping you out with the pots. My hubby watched the video as he wanted to see the pots I contributed. The farm looks great - glad to see your animals are healthy and happy!
I love this game. It's my favorite farming game so far. I love how events and things are timed and spread out. The NPCs feel immersive. I haven't decorated anything so far though.
I revisit this video every now and then to see how you did things ☺ I'm 120 hours into my game and I'm at the end of year 2 (longest days and sometimes the game was left open when I had to walk the dog etc) and just now I really start to decorate and put things into place. I found your bison pot so cute I had to paint it myself. And to be honest I made 2 more in different colors xD they are so fun to look at! I also had Croll build a shed on the right side of the lower field that I made into a little restaurant. I put a fence around and left a little space for an outside area with a big table and some decorations and I put 4 more small tables inside. Then I also took two of the long-ish tables (the medium ones that are like 1x2) and made them into some sort of counter with some food related racks behind them and some pots with grain and water. So it looks like one could order food there. I also put meals on the tables. In case someone doesn't know: If you stand in front of a table with a meal in your hand, you can put it on the table without losing it from your inventory. It's just a decorative thing.
I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out your irrigation layout. You said you could do 27 of each crop, but when I try to duplicate your extender setup I get a segment with 6 rows and two segments of 9 rows each. I can't get three segments of 9 rows without adding a whole extra set of 6 extenders over what you have in your setup. It was really hard to try counting your rows based on the map view of your farm in this video, so if you could enlighten me how you do it or if you're actually at fewer than 27 rows total from top to bottom, I would adore you forever.
Oh nice, pretty cute farm! You mentioned that you could decorate anywhere in the village, but what if it's in the way of a walking NPC? Does it get destroyed?
Thank you! Certain areas are blocked off in order to prevent obstructing villagers walking or future buildings. So you don't have to worry about anything getting destroyed.
Your farm and world it's reaally cool! I've started to play a few days ago and I have questions but the wiki it's missing lot of thing and i'm stuck in the progress :( in the caves, there's a horse totem and I have to give something sweet but don't know what. I found some rock with a paw draw but it sais I dont have that hability yet. And I don't find the monkey totem either. So pls if someone can help me I'll apreciate soooo much! ♥
for the horse totem, you need amaranth. you get this later in the game when you unlock the chickens in the jungle. the horse totem gives you access to horses that you can breed and bring to your farm. the bear claw thingy is an ability you get later as you progress in the mines - just like the owl and monkey ability. so remember to go back to that place once you have the ability! (i reccomend checking out secret rooms on youtube). if you cant find the monkey totem, just look out for any openings that could be a door, and break down a lot of stone. sometimes theres multible doors in one room. eventually you'll find it :)

Thank you, your pots were all amazing! My animals are doing fantastic, I would never neglect them while decorating! 😅

It's definitely one of my favorites now! It can take a while before you get to decorating, but once you do I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

I love how you decorated your house and your farm ! And so many lovely painted pots, it's really nice how some viewers helped you paint some of them !

Turning a shed into a restaurant (or other decorative building) is such a creative idea! The way you describe it I'm sure it looks amazing! :D
I love seeing all the pots your viewers made. It makes me wanna host a pot painting party in-game with friends....but none of my friends play lol
The farm looks amazing and the overflowing water pot was my idea. Glad you like it.
I love it! Thanks again for helping with the pots! 😊
This is so cute! I love the picnic area the most. Tbh, I’m not the type to decorate but this has definitely given me some decorating ideas!
I'm still catching up on streams, but I couldn't resist watching this first lol, everything looks amazing!
Thanks!
Very impressive and beautiful farm & village! Made me wanna work more on my farm for sure :)) Thank you for sharing!
I was just thinking..."I wonder if Josh finished decorating his farm and posted a video.."

Roots Of Pacha is missing from Steam?
I love your farm! I wanted to ask tho, how did you unlock the extra room? Are there more than 2 upgrades?
You get the extra room once you have kids.
Hi Josh! Where did you get the fur rack? I cant find it anywhere

The game was removed from Steam due to a legal dispute over the rights to the game. It will be back on Steam once the dispute has been settled
