I'm not sure if its the same model as the one magic mountain had but at MM it never spun at all. Thankfully it was remove. CA had some sort of regulation forcing MM to put weights on the bottom of the cars.
@@johncastro9098 it is the same model, and yes there was regulation forcing MM to weight the trains due to the fact that either state or federal regulation prohibited them from flipping the cars upright when the arrived upside down which is quite common for the Zac Spin to do.
Magic mountain modified the trains on green lantern so riders would return upside down less in the station, they got what they wanted but it came with a consequence, the ride was uncomfortable
I'm so glad I never rode Green Lantern when they had it at the Six Flags by me...this looks equal parts boring, and painful. I heard this was supposed to be the "fun" version of that ride too, so I could only imagine the misery I would've felt on that p.o.s. ride. I've never been on the S&S versions but they honestly don't look like a ton of fun either. The only good 4D coaster is X2, which thankfully I can ride on a whim since I'm an hour and a half from Valencia. It makes me laugh that the best coaster in the United States is so close to me haha. Take that people who thought they had the best rides with their RMC's before we got 2 of our own.. and easily the BEST RMC conversion of any (Twisted Colossus) haha. Don't you wish you lived in Orange County, California? The safe haven for normal people left in this state and the complete opposite of every area in it with a few exceptions (one being Inland Empire/San Bernardino County).
@@TommonSensePro There's spinning and then there's.... spinning. Way too much, uncontrolled isn't enjoyable for me personally. But really not much point, thus, another reason I don't bother with the rides.
@@jonny-b4954 My comment meant two different things. First, the obvious, why ride a spinning coaster if you don't want spinning. But this video shows it isn't spinning too much, so what's the point of a spinning coaster that doesn't really do what it is designed to do. Up until the last bit, it was tilting back and forth, not spinning.
@@TommonSensePro Well, I mean the point of it is you can still have fun. That's subjective though. I'd much prefer the rocking back and forth with maybe 1-2 flips max. Anymore and I know I wouldn't enjoy the ride. Which is why I commented it doesn't look too bad like this. I could maybe enjoy this. Don't really care one way or another if it isn't exactly how the ride was intended.
...... one ..... flip?
i've spun way more on the s&s versions at six flags great adventure and new england.
So what? That doesn’t mean you had a better ride experience.
S&S Free Spins are some of the worst, most uncomfortable coasters I've ever ridden.
It really just depends on the balancing of the car

Hyvä video! Oon käynyt tässä monta vuotta sitten ja myös mun lempilaite Gronä Lundissa
I heard these rides were amazing and then I rode Green Lantern at SFMM. It was uncomfortable and boring. Batman at SFDK was much better.
Yeah, that one was very bad only because california regulations had them make the cars way heavier.
yeah batman and green lantern are different manufacturers the s&s zac spins (batman) are way better in my opinion.
that specific one had a bunch of problems-- i suggest you watch the defunctland video on that coaster

Nice video, my dude
Everyone remembers Green Lantern: First Flight as being so painful, This one thankfully isn't.
@Thijboi0808 if you are short and you ride maybe with some parent it can be a bit more forcefull, but it’s not painful.
@Thijboi0808 you need to be 140 to ride it :/

Extremely painful ride! The blood vessels in my face burst because of the intense whiplash
Would like to see the coaster from a distance to see how it operates. This video doesn't show much of the coaster.
Look up Green Lantern at six flags magic mountain, exact same ride
@@michaelcrawford8933 except that version had to be weighted so the cars dont spin, making it a worse version of the roller ball.
Excellent quality 🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍷🍷🍷🍷🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂
What😳? Lame looks like a child could ride and ask "When do we begin?"
Only one flip?
I was born in Stockholm!!
Interesting theme park next to the water
This reminds me too much like green lantern DX, hopefully it's better
the batman version at six flags fiesta texas all i saw was flips lol since the very first drop until we got to the end it was spins upon spins 🥴
Sooo Kings Dominion just got this same ride lol
These comments do not pass the vibe check
Lmao coaster sucks lady
@@jonathondurst5980 i’d have fun on it y’all are just weak

intamin 4d's are known to be shit. definitely the earlier ones, like green lantern at magic mountain.
@@Death1rock1334 green lantern was nerfed by the state of california
The one at six flags great adventure seems better in my opinion. This one did flip as much as the joker does.
Doesn't look too bad if you're not spinning like this. I've never done any I've come across for fear of ruining my entire day haha

It was better than green lantern
this is a weak version of the carnival favorite "the zipper"
It was better than Green Lanther
That was like one spin. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
That was only because the car had a bad weight distribution
Lame. You need to ride dragon slayers at adventureland
1 spin
Looks like anm epic waste of money.
Nope!
Looks boring
