Thanks Dr. Schalk and Kelly for excellent discussion! I got great tips and tricks. Please let me know when you plan a course on carrier appliance. There are still some pieces of puzzles that I would like to connect. 😊
Hi there - I have a carriere appliance (based in the UK, aged 28), but have been told to change my elastics 3/4 times a day. Not 5 to 7. Should I query this with my orthodontist? Many thanks!
Hello Olivia, Follow your orthodontists advice and directions they are custom to your specific teeth and plan. There are many different strengths of elastics and factors involved. This video is to teach orthodontists and Dr's not for the patients but its great that you are an active partner in the process and understand what is happening. Is there a risk of wearing them too much, changing too often. No.
Fantastic! I love all your podcasts and appreciate your work, thank you!
