I edited my first clog clip yesterday. I used a look up table to get from log to 709. Then adjusted from there. I will have to see how this works going forward. Thank you so much for the video it was very helpful
Now I'm watching this video. Although the language is different, your explanation inspired me deeply . I using now R7. Thank you for your great explation.. From Korea
I have been cheating using Lutz and Auto on premiere Pro and it worked amazing until recent update. Now it wants me to do auto tone mapping but it comes out looking horrible. I used to apply the lot then auto then correct it as I see fit. I really hope it goes back to that workflow because I'm trying to learn how to edit without a lot and it's a little tedious to be honest
Love the video. Straight to the point and concise. One question, is that audio really coming off your pod mic? If so, what is your approach to mixing with the Podmic. SOUNDS GREAT. i use some compression and EQ but have never had it sounding this clear
Nice video. I see you mentioned to "rule" of using the base ISO of 800 for C-log3, but in your examples, to over expose the shots a little, you are using ISO 2500 and ISO 400. Aren't thos values going to produce a lot of noise in the image? Is the C-log3 profile more noisy than normal profiles?
Yes you are correct, I think it depends on the camera but in my R8 the native iso is 800 or 3200. So my footage looks better at 3200 iso then if I choose 2500. But to your point yes if its not 800 or 3200 then it would have more noise as you go up.

clog 3 video not open premiere pro2023 only audio importing please help?
how do you keep the noise out of your clog3 footage, mine has great dynamic range but way too noisy on my r8
shoot in 400 at all times if possible if you cannot always double it. 400, 800, 1600, etc. when you use weird ones llke 100 it introduces noise
So when, where, or how does rec 709 come in?
was waiting for it

HEVC error?
Try rec 2020 instead of 709 😊
You dont need any histogram you need to use your eyes and judge for yourself if you like it, not letting a histogram decide for u.😂
Your final result looks horrible
Why is the image at 0:08 different from 10:15? The author of the video did not tell us in full how to achieve such a beautiful picture. He is a liar.
You made overexposed video
LOL
