I'm so glad you said what you did about guilty pleasures i dont agree with that term at all. Plus i dont get people who tell you not to watch something because they dont. I tend to like a lot of what people deem rubbish and i dont feel guilty at all. I prefer to watch a movie and find out myself thats why i pretty much give any movie a chance as i like most things some not so much 🤣
You do love your trash cinema. To each his own, there is no judgment here. I realize how not at all modern and still somehow relentlessly mainstream my collection is watching you pull everything in yours. I do not really pay attention to STV Cinema at all. I have a remarkably similar collection only in terms of size. I am stalled at 2,.425 titles. Less than a few steel books, I have not purchased anything physical going back about five years or so. I went fully digital at that point seeing the writing on the wall. I wouldn't function properly without my Apple TV 4k box now. I am seeing the error in that decision of late. Which is honestly more of a room-to-store everything issue as 2,500 BDs, who knows how many DVDs I kept for whatever reason, a few Laserdiscs, and even fewer VHS titles, take up serious friggin' space in any media room. I need a bigger house to truly expand. I also love the convenience of digital. The good news is that I started collecting BDs at launch, so I don't have to worry about dropping serious coins on various OOP rarities in playing catch-up. I can also go used because I don't need the digital codes in most boxes. I am also multi-region ready. Something I learned was a necessity in the DVD days. I can grab anything from anywhere and that should be collector standard. Yep. I need to get back on that horse. Also, a while back, my nephew asked me if he should sort all his "The" titles in the "T's." I told him that absolutely nobody would ever do THAT!!! How complicated and annoying would that be? Put "The Big Chill" next to "The Big Blue" > "Big Daddy" where it belongs. Thanks so much for proving me wrong there. I find it hilarious how people organize things. Or don't really organize anything in a few cases. I had my collection in order of "theatrical release date" for years as an example. With all my box sets, steel books, multi-title releases, TV, and music discs separated. It makes everything so much easier to locate IMNSHO.

Viewing, buying, organizing. These rooms are our happy places. They need to reflect that and not the opinions of others. I was merely pointing out it would drive me nuts. I am nothing if not anal-retentive in this regard myself.
Great collection.. I don’t put the “the”together, I also put all sequels together in release order not alphabetically but to each his own.
