If walking or slowly jogging, sprint until out of sight. This is good advice for females and males. Changing your routine also reduces the chance of you becoming complacent and for the statistical chance for an accident. Be aware, be safe.

I wish there were ways to prevent these tragedies but only thing i would start with is having more video cameras set up all around every building on campus . And top of the line equipment not the ones that are grainy to look thru. And not ones that just sit there that run over previous video. Thrn have a room with every camera screen and someone monitoring them 24/7. I know it's expensive but our kids have that right to be a little more protected. I, as a parent, would be willing to pay an extra fee to guard my kids. Coming from a mom who lost her son and his childhood best friend that were murdered just outside the campus. The guy was jealous his gf was hanging with them so he followed them and killed 1 other and seriously injured his gf. But im sure if there were cameras, it wouldnt of taken so long to figure out the shooter's name who had followed them off the campus. I dont have the solution but if you did research on the supervised camera rooms, it would help locate quicker. Imho ❤
