One reason it was so long is because of all the interruptions from the crowd cheering "Thank you Joe" and telling him how much they love him. I became very emotional and could see many people at the convention were in tears. I joined in and chanted "Thank you Joe!" along with them.

Joe began his speech endorsing Kamala and Tim, then proceeded to share the credit of his administration's successes with Kamala every chance he got. I don't know what one of the CNN panel members is talking about that he only got to Kamala towards the end. The panel's complaining that it was late but whenever the camera panned to the crowd everyone looked energized, excited and some even teary-eyed. It was a wonderful speech by a great president, patriot and just overall good human being.❤

I watched Joe Biden tonight. He stuttered a little with a few words, but it was a wonderful speech. He did NOT make it all about him. For a minute it sounded as if Jake Tapper was talking about Trump. The audience was cheering for Biden so loudly that he had to stop speaking several times. Calling it the "second day" of the convention, just because Chicago is in a different time zone is very petty. I stopped listening to this so-called analysis after a couple of minutes. Did they mention the joy and enthusiasm in the room?

The DNC tonight gave me hope. To look around and see so many of my fellow Americans so happy and hopeful reminded me of the days before Trumpism. Kamala looks and sounds presidential and beautiful. I could not believe Jake Tapper trying to go negative about president Biden's speech, when I heard his "criticism" I yelled at him on my tv...seriously Jake?? Ever since Jake Tapper moderated that debate without either he or Bash "calling trump out on his nonstop lies and never answering one question directly" Tapper has changed. Joe began his speech endorsing Kamala and Tim, then proceeded to share the credit of his administration's successes with Kamala every chance he got. I don't know what one of the CNN panel members is talking about that he only got to Kamala towards the end. The panel's complaining that it was late but whenever the camera panned to the crowd everyone looked energized, excited and some even teary-eyed. It was a wonderful speech by a great president, patriot and just overall good human being.❤

I watched Joe Biden tonight. He stuttered a little with a few words, but it was a wonderful speech. He did NOT make it all about him. For a minute it sounded as if Jake Tapper was talking about Trump. The audience was cheering for Biden so loudly that he had to stop speaking several times. Calling it the "second day" of the convention, just because Chicago is in a different time zone is very petty. I stopped listening to this so-called analysis after a couple of minutes. Did they mention the joy and enthusiasm in the room?
