Hello friend. Please, can you help me? Look at my issue here: I have 9 pages with soft 404, through Search Console. The thing is: that THIS is not a "problem". I'm gonna explain. All of these pages are limited according to the user's access. Users with access (let's say) 1, cannot enter into the pages X and Y and then receive a specific message. And so it goes with Users access 2, 3 etc. Well then. Whenever google passed his robots on these pages, he probably encountered this "error", which is a limitation that I decided to place on the site. Does this negatively affect SEO? These are pages that I have no interest in exposing (including pages like /cart etc). They are not /home or /blog pages (which I want to be found anytime). How to solve that? no-index would work here? Is this a problem btw?
My question is what should I do in order to remove those spam link from indexing and search console or the search console took care of it automatically?
When I open my RUclips app and click on the Bell icon I get an error code 404 and it says "There was problem with the server 404 " would you know how I can fix this problem ? FYI - I am on an ANDROID phone. It is the only internet connection that I have. Thank You for your help with this problem.
Hey Curtrice, That sounds like a problem with the RUclips app. A 404 error means you're internet is working, but the page you're trying get to doesn't work. Is your Android updated to the latest OS?
What should be done when the plugin doesn't detect a 404 error page, but Gtmetrix shows 404 png picture which no longer exists in the media library? I have 4 of them and they're listed under 'Avoid Bad Requests' 'Pagespeed' & 'Yslow' waterfall chart shows them in red. Would appreciate any help with this as I couldn't find anything on forums after searching for hours. Thank you!
Hi Abdul, The 404 error just means the page or the site can't be accessed. So if by "all my websites say 404" you mean you own and host the websites then it's likely a problem with your hosting account. If by "all my websites say 404" you mean any website you visit from a Google search then it may be a problem with your internet connection. Hi Mubashir, What were the instructions given by Elementor? Is the 404 appearing when you try to edit the page Elementor or when you try to view a built page? The first thing to comes to my mind is resetting your Permalinks. Go to Settings then Permalinks. Scroll to the bottom of the Permalinks page without making any changes and click on Save. That may fix the issue.

Sorry for my delay in responding! "Page not found" is a 404 error even if it doesn't say "404" on the page. Hopefully, you've resolved this issue, but if you haven't here's what I would do. Go to Settings then Permalinks. Scroll to the bottom of the Permalinks page without making any changes and click on Save. That should clear up the issue. Do redirects work for deleted posts? I'm having a real issue with my site not being indexed or searchable anymore because i deleted a post. I'm not sure if I can redirect it or not.
Hi Andy, If you are using an .htaccess rediect you can redirect URLs that don't exist, like a deleted post. Once you have the redirect in place Google Search Console will update eventually, removing the 404 warning. Or you can mark the 404 as resolved in GSC. I hope that helps and thanks for watching!

If you don't need that category anymore I would delete it and redirect that URL to a different category page or your homepage or some other live page. The colour overlay is created using CSS, so it could be that your CSS isn't refreshing on the front end. This sounds like a caching issue. There are some other tricks you can try to force your CSS changes to be applied: 1. Try a hard refresh: Ctrl + Shift + R on your keyword for Windows or CMD + Shift + R on a Mac 2. If you're using Google chrome check your site in a different browser like FireFox to see if the changes are applied. 3. If you have a caching plugin like W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache installed, clear its' cache and deactivate it while you're making CSS edits. 4. Try installing a Cache Killer add-on to Chrome to see if that helps, here's a tutorial for that one: ruclips.net/video/CegkzTkcQq0/видео.html If it is a caching issue, one of those should help. If none of those work, then we rule out caching as the problem.

Need help! Made a massive error when adding Ithemes to my wordpress plugins. I've Gone into SSL Certificate and Forced the SSL I knew My site had no Support SSL and it has made my site unavailible-Your connection is not secure 404 error please help!!!!
The first thing I would do is deactivate the iTheme plugin. Since you can't access your site you can do it via your hosting cPanel. Do what I show in this video, but instead of changing the folder name of the plugins folder open the plugins folder and change the folder name of the iThemes plugin folder: ruclips.net/video/UrVbGptXABw/видео.html If that doesn't work, check in your htaccess if there is "force SSL" code. The .htaccess may looking like gibberish code, so some Googling will be necessary. Let me know how it goes!

I just tried accessing your site in Google chrome and the non-https version loaded fine. Great looking website! If you still see the errors in Firefox it may be a caching issue. Try in a different browser or clear your cache and cookies. There are also SSL settings in Siteground, here's their help page: www.siteground.com/tutorials/getting-started/install-a-certificate/ Siteground also has great support, I'm sure they would help.

If you still see the errors in Firefox it may be a caching issue. Try in a different browser or clear your cache and cookies.
