i think for the brp expired or not question we need to say no if your physical brp card has gone past the valid till date. Since they asked BRP specifically not evisa. So say no i even tried asking it to chat gpt and it said the same thing. If you are confused try calling the UKVISA.

u can keep the family name blank if this is what is in ur passport and brp. regarding ur husband, i think its okay not to mention as its not a criminal conviction.

so the thing is, ur brp and evisa is the same thing. they both are identification of u as a student. even if ur physical brp expired on 31st dec, ur evisa is valid till 27th jan. thus ur student brp or evisa is not yet expired.
@@Anoosha07 The BRPs generally expired by 31st. You should have registered for your e-visa by now, if yes, then confirm the expiry date on your e-visa account. Hope that helps

Hey! I had the same issue, I created another ukvi account with my passport and dob. When it asked if your document has a chip l, I gave no. It directed me to the ukvi app. All I had to do was capture the first page of my passport with camera, it read the details correctly this time and I was able to proceed with the process. Converted brp to e visa immediately. Hope this helps
Hi I started applying my PSW on 19th December 2024. My medical insurance fees was deposited online and it is updated at UKVI site. When i deposited visa application fees then i was shown with a successful transaction with transaction id. But the visa application fees dis not reflect in UKVI site. Due the the same i am uable to finish the PSW application process. I have complaint to their technical team as guided by telephonic support. They asked my details on 2nd January. That also i have provided. But after 12 days since then, no update at site. What I should do in this case? My BRP will be expired by end of this month. If the problem is not resolved then what to do? In such case how long i can stay in UK and wait for the resolution?
sorry for the late reply sir. if your son paid for everything, he shud hv received a payment comfirmation email from ukvi. also, payment is done in the end after completing all the forms and docs. after payment there is nothing else left to do other than wait for the results. If his brp is going to expire, it is okay as long as he has the psw application reference number

hey, the same thing happened with me. in that case, u hv to choose “can’t use the app”. ur current application will be deleted and u’ll hv to start fresh. u’ll directly fill the form and then book appointment

1. they dont send any letters but they will confirm ur current address with either ur agency or landlord 2. correct 3. i m not entirely sure but yes many ppl have done the same 4. right. u just need cas no. though, no cas document to be scanned or uploaded 5. honestly, i dont know. u can check ukvi webpage for the same

so if u have booked an appointment, ur passport is tye only thing they need. infact u can check under the “Document List Needed” to see if it’s all u need to upload
Hey brother! Thank you for the video. I had an issue while converting my brp to e visa. Firstly i converted it only after 31st of December. When i scanned my brp with the ukvi app, it was reading my name wrong saying details do not match, even though my name is same in all documents, it was only an error while scanning with the phone. So i used my passport to confirm my identity and successfully got the e visa. Now when i tried applying for psw, i am facing the same issue where details don't match and it did not allow me to scan my passport. I panicked and booked an appointment to confirm identity in person. Am i doing the right thing? So i just have to carry my brp, passport and printout of my application form to the visa centre, and it can be done in person right? I'm just confused if I'm doing the right thing 😭
hey u r doing everything right. u only need passport and brp though for the appointment. the only thing is I took the assisted service that made them scan my own docs. not sure if you have to scan them urself or not.
When we select that I am unable to scan brp. It cancels our earlier application and moves us to entire different applucation form. Then after filling all details and paying ihs and then visa fee they re direct us to third party website to book biometric appointment is that right?? And where we have to share our documents??
that’s completely right. physical appointment means they will cancel ur initital apllication and wud urge u to start again. all that happened to u is completely normal. no need to stress. the third party u get directed to is TLS contact which is UK govt’s official partner to help them deal with such cases. I took assisted services while taking an appointment which meant i had to take my passport and bro to them and they will scan it for me. that’s all the docs u’d need

i dont think u’d need to create another ukvi account if u already hv one. Second thing is once u connect ur ukvi accoung with ur evisa u wont need to confirm ur identity again

oh no definitely not. ur brp is valid till 18th jan. its just the physical card that got expired. if u converted it to evisa that means ur brp is still active. u can say no if they say “ is ur brp expired?”

if you are from india you must use your brp.

Hi bro in my case when I do the application my brp and pass port name mismatched and i was unable to scan brp.so they asked to delete current application and start a new one.I started new one but in the payment section it shows the combined fee of myself and my 2 dependents.is it ok to pay .

hey, the same thing happened with me. in that case, u hv to choose “can’t use the app”. ur current application will be deleted and u’ll hv to start fresh. u’ll directly fill the form and then book appointment

Im having issue during identity check. As my full name on brp is Tabassum Banu so, I'm using Tabassum as a first name and 'Banu' as a last name and expiry date on my brp card is 31-Dec-2024. I am confused as they asked to have a look for checklist of you have to upload any documents. But the thing is I have just uploaded scan passport of mine and my husband. Hey brother! Thank you for the video. I had an issue while converting my brp to e visa. Firstly i converted it only after 31st of December. When i scanned my brp with the ukvi app, it was reading my name wrong saying details do not match, even though my name is same in all documents, it was only an error while scanning with the phone. So i used my passport to confirm my identity and successfully got the e visa.
Now when i tried applying for psw, i am facing the same issue where details don't match and it did not allow me to scan my passport. I panicked and booked an appointment to confirm identity in person. Am i doing the right thing? So i just have to carry my brp, passport and printout of my application form to the visa centre, and it can be done in person right? I'm just confused if I'm doing the right thing 😭
hey u r doing everything right. u only need passport and brp though for the appointment. the only thing is I took the assisted service that made them scan my own docs. not sure if you have to scan them urself or not.

When we select that I am unable to scan brp. It cancels our earlier application and moves us to entire different applucation form. Then after filling all details and paying ihs and then visa fee they re direct us to third party website to book biometric appointment is that right?? And where we have to share our documents??
that’s completely right. physical appointment means they will cancel ur initital apllication and wud urge u to start again. all that happened to u is completely normal. no need to stress. the third party u get directed to is TLS contact which is UK govt’s official partner to help them deal with such cases. I took assisted services while taking an appointment which meant i had to take my passport and bro to them and they will scan it for me. that’s all the docs u’d need

Hlo bro really a nice video my friend is also having problem so she book the appoitment paying 60 pound for early appinment and then they ask for upload document there are 2 part one upload document then summary then submit is this samd happen with you .

Sorry, I am currently applying for my Graduate Visa. My issue is that when confirming my identity using the "UK Immigration ID Check" app on my iPhone, my given name, which consists of two names, "LEANDRO GIOVANNI" is being registered by the system as "LEANDRO GIOVA" meaning my second name is being shortened. I have converted E-Visa before 31st December. My physical BRP card expired 31-12-24. So now i have 2 questions if i apply now:
1. Has your Biometric residence permit expired? Yes or no
2. When creating account, @ enter your biometric residence permit details --- Expiry Date section-- which date should i provide? 31st December, 2024 or my visa expiry date which is 20th January 2025.
1. you say no, coz ur brp is not yet expired, its just converted to evisa.
2. ur expiry date is what u see on ur evisa. if it says 20th jan, that’s ur expiry date then

oh no definitely not. ur brp is valid till 18th jan. its just the physical card that got expired. if u converted it to evisa that means ur brp is still active. u can say no if they say “ is ur brp expired?”
