Thank you thank you so much I couldn’t find a video that actually explained how the knitting part of this hold works. So many ppl only show how the hold works but I was confused how they were going through the loops as they would go too fast at that point, so thank you so much for making that so clear.
Yay! So glad it helped you! I really try to break down my how-to's how I remember struggling and learning, and address those! So glad it resonated with you!
You did a great job at explaining ! I have been trying to learn continental for a few days and with your help, I finally got it with no twisted stitches
Thanks, Paula! I hope it helps! Everyone knits differently, but this really is the easiest for me and I hope it helps some people who just don't jive with the throwing method.💖
Thank you so much for explaining it this way! Knowing where all my fingers should be and why, was what finally allowed me to grasp this continental knitting concept.
Yes thank you.. so much faster than how I normally do it 👍 Hopefully you will make more teaching videos💗🧶 Miss your bunny videos, thier so cute 🐇🐰 Thank u once more n God bless 🙏
You're definitely tensing up! I would practice the yarn holding and winding around your fingers in the left hand while not holding needles. Until you feel more comfortable 💖
@@bumblebeeacresfarm I am happy to watch a long video to learn a new skill… as a newbie a little direction where to start is a big help because there are so many cast ons I fell I could choose the wrong one 🥹
Could you do a tutorial of this again but with less talking? It'd be nice to see you demonstrate the movements in slow motion without constantly pausing
Hi there! I'm afraid I am unable to do that at this time, but if it helps, you can mute the video and edit the playback speed(slow it down) using the settings wheel in the corner of the video!
Thank you so much. I have watched it right through and now I am going to give it a go. Your instructions are so clear and simple.
Thank you so very much! Glad it could help! I am hoping to do some more tutorials soon. It's always a matter of time, though.
This was one of the better continental stitch videos- thank you! I’m trying to switch from English style.
Thank you! Glad I could help! I am hoping to do some more demos with my better film equipment soon

Thank you for taking the time to make this video for everyone.
Thank you! Maybe it’s because this is the 5th video I’ve watched on this but your video is the one that made it really CLICK for me
Thank you! That is such a compliment! I am going to work on doing more How To's, too! Happy Knitting!
Thank you for the tutorial. I'm left handed and I find it easier using this method!
So happy I could help!

I’m so happy to hear that it helped you! Happy knitting friend!
Thank you, this is the best demonstration of continental knitting I have come across. There’s hope for me yet 😊
You can do it!!! I find that practicing the holding of the yarn and getting comfortable with that in your left hand is the key
Thank you Sam for this. Very helpful. I am determined to learn how to knit this way😊

Thanks a lot. I now know how to continental knit.

You are so welcome! I'm a classic overthinker, so having every detail explained always helps me. I am glad I was able to help you, too!

You are so welcome! I am so glad it helped! I will definitely be putting out some new tutorials! Next up... the dreaded Kitchener Stitch!
Great demo but i just can not get my non dominant left hand to feel comfortable and not cramp up 😢

My Mom learned this method from her Canadian neighbor.
Yes this didn’t help me so now I have to find another one for that part haha
Good luck with your knitting adventures!
I think if you are a beginner, you need to know first: how to cast on.
You definitely do! 😜
And I don’t…
What if you are left handed?
Thank you, but before I can try this, I have to go find another video that shows how to cast on.
I almost always use the "wrap cast on" method! good luck!
Yeah but what about casting on?…. That is a big part of learning how to knit
There are so many ways to cast on! I didn't want to make the video too long!
