    JESUS CHRIST THANK YOU..... Seriously man I have been trying to understand this forever and have always felt so stupid. I made the mistake of asking once and was humiliated at a woodworking shop. Thank you for explaining man

    Ok. I was doing good in the forest... until I wandered off and got lost.
    Just kiddin'. I grew up with imperial. This metric is driving me crazy, lol.

      ya metric is everywhere now but at least industry is mostly imperial. you will figure it out dont worry.

      And imperial drives metric users _extra_ crazy, so I guess it's just comeuppance.

    Biggest problem i find with imperial is when im dividing measurements for a room.
    Fractions is easy until you need to quickly work out a third of a fraction...

    Omg i think i sort of get it now....why dont they just go metric, life would be so much easier

    • @DavidsDiyReviews
      @DavidsDiyReviews  Год назад

      I’m not totally sure but they seem to want to stick with it. It would also be very expensive as a country and for companies to switch their entire measurement system and for companies that the export too

  • @Mage_co

    Use metric system and you don't need Videos like this lol

      some people just do i guess

    • @Persun_McPersonson

      They're used to it and don't want to try switching from what they're used to, even if it would be worth it in the end.

      Suppose we tell your country to switch to imperial overnight. Besides I do not know why everyone makes this so hard. As a carpenter when building I have zero problem measuring anything for me imperial is easy.
