Story 3. Lady, OP WARNED you they weren't in a good condition to watch YOUR kids. Get OVER yourself! Story 4. Ahhhh. A chapter from the book "I don't Give a F!" Story 5. Lady, do your JOB!
Thats why every human tells you if you ever win a jackpot of money, KEEP IT DOWN! Families and friendships end or change to the worst cuz of that, apart of actual good family and friend members
Story 1: OP's obviously not the jerk, but one thing I didn't hear was anything about the taxes that may be involved with those winnings. Whether the winnings are taxed directly or indirectly from generating more money through investments, it's important to know if any of that money is ostensibly spoken for before it's spent. But still, OP's not the jerk at all. If you ever win money, keep it quiet and only disclose your windfall with the most trusted friends and family... If at all.
Story 1: op is not the jerk but the mistake was telling their family that they won 25,000 from the lottery this is exactly why you never tell anyone and I mean anyone that you won the lottery because family will change your friends will betray you and they might try to sue you just to get the money from you
Story 1: Uggh.... now this is exactly why you NEVER EVER give out any kind of lottery ticket as a present. This is the risk you take. More often then not, lottery tickets are duds, but there is always the chance something can be won... in this case, it was $25,000. OP doesnt have to give them anything here.... and the OP even offered to give some out. These people are just greedy and they have shown you their true colours. I dont know where the OP is here, along with the narrator, but i know where i live (Canada), you cannot remain anonymous in lottery winnings, especialy at a certain dollar amount. Story 2: Is this story really a "revenge", or just the OP going out of their way to do better for themselves? I think its the latter. Glad the OP is getting away from this jerk and is doing better. Story 3: No way is the OP a jerk here.... the sister is, along with anybody on her side here. Can't people understand the words "NO" anymore? It doesnt matter why the OP, or anyone, cant watch your kids and for whatever reason. If they can't, then they can't. If the sister is going to be this uptight and rude about it, then i would never ever watch her kids going forward. As for the parents, i would tell them to watch the kids in the future.... otherwise, buzz off. Story 4: Why can't people just learn to leave people alone and let them do their jobs? Unless you are doing something unsafe or majorly against the rules, who care how about people do their jobs/tasks? If you get the job done and the manager is happy, then who cares? I would've told her to screw off.... along with the boss here. People like Patricia suck. Story 5: OP isnt a jerk, but the big jerk here in the long run, is the insurance and the manager. While the insurance did fix it... its a big reason why a lot of people dont get any kind of insurance. They love to take your money, but will stall forever when they have to pay you something. As for the manager, they definitely dropped the ball here and the review should've been a hint to the doctor to fire some of those people. They singlehandly wrecked things here. With everything said here, the doctor did absolutely nothing wrong here.... except keep these people around.
*Story 1:* I don't get family member's attitudes. You don't owe them diddly shit. You won $25k from a Lottery ticket. You can do with it whatever you want. So no, you're definitely not the jerk in this story.
I would walk from building to building instead of using my vehicle. When Patricia is the mobil guard, if she doesn’t show up every hour, I would get on the radio and ask her when she is arriving as it has been over an hour since she was last seen in the building you are working in.
17:39 I get where OP is coming from but they definitely should stick to the job description. If they want to modify the routine that needs to be clearly communicated and they should 100% mention the compensation issue with their supervisor. I doubt it would get any changes made but you have to communicate with your bosses and coworkers.
Story 4 - NO. NTA. OP did Nothing wrong. If the other guard needs somebody over there she can call. That's why they have radios. And if they expect OP to run their vehicle to death they're Wrong. They can provide a work vehicle or they can accept things the way they are being done. The co-worker was in the wrong for complaining.
he didnt do his job the way he was suppose too yea she can radio him but why would she when she probly has to wait 30 minutes for him to get there insted of 5 to grab someone else

Money makes people so greedy and shady
0:04 the family only cared about you that now you are rich.
just because you can't access the portal doesn't mean you can't call the doctor or email the doctor.
Story 1: “Find a penny on the floor, a pirate will come through your door.” OP doesn’t owe them a thing.

This are always the best things to listen to❤
my uncle had a rule that you don’t give lottos as a gift for this reason.
nta by the way they shouldn’t have been greedy
yeah story one. I totally agree with the OP $250 is enough. They are the selfish ones you don’t need toxic people like that in your life
I never ever ever scratch gift scratchers in front of the givers... ever..
For story three do phone numbers just not exist or something? Like they couldn’t call the doctor? Or is that just a thing where I’m from?
