You caught my eye on this lesson Sean, I have been struggling with subject on soloing. It’s helpful that you go into the notes to target to have the melody sound good in that chord progression. I’m going to study this one. Thanks
Great lesson Sean. I’m eating this stuff up. This is a good continuation of those exercises going up and down the fretboard on the b,e and d,g strings. So proud of myself that I can play them smoothly. This one should be fun because I know all of those positions well. I’m also getting better at using my looper, after being afraid of it for so long. Wish I could join your patreon but I’m on a fixed income and stretched pretty tight. Thanks for the what you do…… Todd Brennan
Things I've learned from Mr. Daniels in no certain order: 1. Everything I know just about. Thanks for another lesson. While I still think I might be a poser, this video helps convince me, since I actually understand it, that maybe I'm not.
Sean, that cord progression was amazing. Maybe you can explain this particular progression in another lesson. Also thanks for the tips on soloing on acoustic guitar
Even though I hardly ever play in C, this video brought so much together, and gave me a lot of new ideas for my usual A and E noodles. NOw I am used to your accent (I@m English) I am really understanding a lot more. I also really like your attitude and teaching style ! Thankyou very, very much :D
Dude….I have been down so many RUclips rabbit holes trying to pick up tips and tricks but dammit it if you aren’t the first do just lay it all out there and finally make things click…Norm McDonald 100% under valued in those commercials…finally some truth!!!
This is brilliant! The first progression though, isn't really a common one....if you chose a C F G progression instead, would this same solo work just as well?
I love acoustic guitar… To me it is far more beautiful than electric… Of course electric is more rock ‘n’ roll and has its place no doubt… But acoustic, just outstanding!
great lesson. wish you wouldnt name drop you tayler builders additon 4k dollar guitar w fake cutaway and sound hole and indirectly tear down my 414 which i know was probably the (lowkey) point of this video in the first place. but yah. another good lesson.
He was,in fact, the best Colonel. I'm almost as sure of that fact as I am that in the 90's, O.J. Simpson brutally murdered his ex wife and that delivery guy.
@@seandaniel23 thanks Sean for all the content but regarding this I looked into it and it is a scam. They're using your name. There are videos on RUclips which pretty much mirror what they were asking of me. Oh well. They're offering me a d'angelico guitar and a complete set of drums. Craziness. Thanks just wanted to alert you that others might be fooled like I was and to not give in to them. Have a great weekend and thanks for all the lessons

You always manage to post videos relevant to my current interests
This is a great lesson into the mentality of acoustic guitar soloing! There's lots of fun to be had here!
Really enjoy your videos- a bit much for my minor skills - but still always fun to watch. Met you in Raphoe - it was great seeing you perform there.
Thank you for the tips on playing acoustic solos. Very helpful!

Lovin those maj7 chords. Use them all the time now that you showed them to us
For me, one of your very best and most helpful lessons delivered with your usual style and good humour. Great job, thank you J
Thanks Sean great wee lesson and achievable for me at beginner / inter level.
Beautiful playing and great lesson Sean! 🎶

Great lesson.
Still having trouble figuring out landing notes and which scales to play on chord changes.
Can you touch on this in future vids?
Thank you! Your videos have helped me make great gains in my playiing!
As always, great exercises (and even though they are for an acoustic, I have no problem applying these techniques to playing clean electric)

Nice, thanks for the lesson. I can implement this today.
Great ideas! Very useful and much appreciated!

For example: B12 8F-0B 10G-0B 12B-0B
@Sean Daniel
Great stuff Sean I'm all over this cheers for the lesson 👍
These are quick and easy
Around that 9th on the g string is a sweet spot
Sean, what are you tips for shopping at the Lacoste outlet?
Shop the clearance rack only.

Yes because it’s still in the c major scale
Yup!

Shout out norm
Will we see you move to Cali soon and shred with Dovy once again?
Norm is a legend! Haha
RIP
Great. What style G did you play on the second chord progression?
Hey Sean, may I ask which microphone are you using to capture such clear sound from amp and your voice at the same time
I'm just using a sennheiser mke440 mounted to the camera.
@@seandaniel23 thanks
Any particular reason why you don't use a pick
No technical reason, I just go back and forth
only 8 seconds in but you're already getting a like for the Norm MacDonald comment
Dane cook?
Why is there an extra hole on your guitar? I know there’s a purpose for it, I just dunno what it is

Ok I'm back after watching all the norm macdonald KFC skits. Now let's play

Ah ok it is a scam. I was all in 😊but didn’t click on the payment for shipping button.
If it said a whole set of drums and a guitar I would have known right away it was a scam, but the wording was vague
Honestly, I thought this would be easy....
Blablabla....
Or be like slayer play chromatics and abuse the whammy bar.
