Tiger 2 with nerfed gun stats and HP is a tier 7 premium.
This should say everything that is needed about Tiger 2 as a tier 8 tank.
All old tier 8's got powercrept to hell and tanks that weren't powercrept were nerfed like the AT-2 that USED to be able to just charge through the malinovka field when top tier before serb ran up to it and filed off most of the armor.
It's a IR (night vision) spotlight and scope on the cupola. You can find late war pictures of Panther tanks with it fitted historically.
Yes, that ugly shit on top is for night vision however it isn't in the damage model for the tank. The thing on top that is part of the damage model is a periscope gun sight. It's similar to what's on the Maus and Sherman tanks.
The scope mounted to the cupola is the night vision scope but I think Quickybaby meant the roof mounted periscope infront of the cupola. More than likely the gunners aiming periscope as I can't see one through the mantlet. The bulges on the side of the turret are rangefinders.
@@gothamgoon4237 nope, it is used to seek and preaim when tank is in hiding, before TC gives command to go from full cover to hull down to snap shot, there would be still optics on same plane as a gun, even if not visibly modeled, you would not use roof mounted periscope as primary gun optics, cos you can't see properly whether there a obstructions in front of barrel, especially issue when in cover obviously

@@leopardcentury4079 Sorry Honey, not even modern MBT can snap a shot like WOT depicts. They only give you certain degree of possibility to hit, which is better than on oldies, as even modern stabilizers can't stabilize everything nor modern ballistic computer can't account for everything. Even with modern tank if you need to get accurate shot out you need to stop . Also WOT Snap shot has absolutely nothing to do with reality, as any multitude of other things in that game. And snapping a shot is different than shot on the move which is what you refer to. You snap a shot when in hurry, does not matter whether thank is stationary or moving, or when no tank is involved at all. Tank that would shot from cover would be inherently stationary even after short move when firing in this era. WWII tank controls were not so hasty as your mouse, tank had plenty time to stabilize before gunner was somewhat sure he can hit ....
So your use of a snap shot for a shot on move makes me cringe.
Panther II was such tank before engine nerf years ago. In those days it was excellent spotter in the middle on Prokhorovka thanks to this kind of dynamic mobility.

@@betoalbert2919 If you really think that, you haven't been paying attention. Check out his Räumpanzer review for example. QB stays polite, that's just what he does, but he does say clearly he'd only recommend the tank to collectors who insist on owning every vehicle in the game. That's a no-nonsense way of saying that thing sucks.

@@betoalbert2919 bruh wdym... Löwe's turret compared to this one is a lot worse... E75 actually has pretty solid turret. There are no turrets without weakspots in this game, especially at tier 8.
Even IS-7 has pennetrable cheeks (for 340 HEAT it's 30%-ish chance if I remember correctly and for JPE it's almost 100%) and also gun mantlet is tiny weakspot. Mayby it has no coupolas, but there are times you will get pennetrated. And actually E75 TS has one of the best t8 turrets in game, with small coupola and lack of major weakspots

@@gerritenjasper135 KV5 was my first tier 8 premium. Love that thing. However it's unplayable now. Overall penetration has been powercrept in the game and now it's good armor is just mediocre. And since it already had a crap gun, you can't play it without shooting 100% gold rounds. It's really unfortunate. Luckily wargaming gave me a mutant for some reason lol.

I too always thought the panther 2 should be tougher two but it's a Russian game ( I heard in real life a hetzer could take down a IS 2 but that's not going to happen in game )
@@aarondavis5535 Hetzer an IS-2? No it couldnt, unless it was very close. Thats why Panthers and JpzIV got longer L70 guns. And in Wot Hetzer has 156 gold pen at tier IV, tho it was produced only after D-Day.
Hetzer is one of the most over appreciated vehicles of the war. It was a specialized TD that couldnt even destroy all enemy tanks. It was slow (similar horsepower/ton to a Tiger II!). The crew had almost no visibility from the inside. The vehicle was inferior in infantry suport roles to StugIII. Its side armor could be penetrated with AT rifles, like PTRD.
You should think of Hetzer as a "last ditch" weapon. Cheap and barely good enough for desperate defense.

Aaron Davis yeah,historically hetzer had very high velocity 75mm gun that had around 150-169 pen depending on the year the shell
Could pen is1-2 no problem specially on urban fighting where urban engagements are well within 300 meter

I have the Lowe and im fine with the way it is :) mighty fine tank when you tank a corner with some distance to your enemys so your still somekind of sniper..
why would you buff an old tank that many players already own, if you can just sell a new buffed löwe-ish tank.

Got my tier 9 E75 yesterday. I love it, helps that I already had the Pz. VII and JPz.E100, so I already had all the guns. If anyone is thinking about lootboxes, remember to not fall into the trap of false hope. Give yourself a limit, and stick to it. In general you will get more value out of the boxes than just flat buying gold but dont go overboard and dont go in expecting to get a tier 8.

@QB thing on the roof in font of TC cupola us Gunner periscope sight. Gives gunner ability to seek and preaim shot even if tank is in full cover. When he is ready, TC can give command to driver to push tank to hull down position or any position that exposes barrel enough for gunner to shoot and that scoot back in hole. Lot of early german tanks were missing this, as it is most useful in defense position not during roaming attack. Chieftain tends to berate Germans for it and uses it as a reason how great sherman was ...
One of the key things that makes this tank a lot better than many other german heavies is the angled turret that blocks everything, it doesn't have the gold magnet german cheeks
This tank belongs to new class of WOT - heavy medium tank, like SuperPershing, T-54 prototype, Object 430U, and etc.

Hi William I ended up with all the Vehicles in the boxes,35,124 Gold, 44,174,551 Silver, 24 Days of premium time all for about $ 80. I'm sure I did very well just 3 or 11 boxes at a time.
honestly if i was still playing regularly I would prefer to have the E75 ts rather than the new soviet tank as it suits the way i play more.

I actually really do wish this was the E-50 TS and not the E-75 TS. The E-50 Ausf M needs a good crew trainer and, while there are tons of german premium mediums, none of them have quite the same playstyle and characteristics as the E-50 and E-50 M

i havent played wot in years and now i am trying to come back and need a new t8 prem. The T34 seems outdated and my type 59 has been power creeped to all hell. I will be tryin to get a E75 ts, Defender or the x2 barrel tank. When your 34 yrs old single and finally have a good job you can buy whatever. Doesnt mean i agree with wgs trash business model.

The second game hill fight is the epitome of a good heavy fight. This kind of games is what keeps me playing WoT, despite all the bad / raging games. It is the highest highs that let us forget the lowest lows.
The item on the turret roof is a German Sperber FG1250 night vision sight for commander only

R.I.P Lowe... Back in the old days was such a fun heavy sniper... Played more like a heavy turreted TD than Heavy Tank but still a very fun tank to work ridgelines with. I know a lot of you already knew this but for any new pups or people who haven't been around to see the WOT glory days, that's what you are missing.
This tank both look awesome and seems to perform!

The tank in the boxes is a bonus not a goal. The e75 TS will be available later during the year without the boxes so I implore everyone to wait if they want one instead of buying boxes.
I buy the boxes for decorations not for the bonus tanks
I know that some feel the loot boxes are gambling, but I bought 1 75 loot box package for 99 bucks, but ended up with 33 days of premium, 39k gold 6.2 million silver, All the kool skins, every tank but the 2 barel Russian and of course enough shards/ornaments to complete the event. Call it gambling if you want, but this is The best deal Wargaming will ever give up in the Premium shop....

I LIKE it! Looks good. Not OP, not rubbish...Just average with extra Credits and XP. The tank gives you a chance to show how good YOU are and not how good the tank is with you just pressing W key. Some tanks like Donkerer is not player skill. Tank is just OP AF.
Didn’t get the loot boxes as I figured they’d sell it eventually. And I was right. Loving this thing as it’s basically an E50 at tier 8 with less alpha and a slower ROF. But it more than fulfills the ramming dream.
That "thing" in front of the TC's copoula is the Infra Red lamp + sight, the same as would be on a Panther II.
The thing on the cupola is an infrared spotlight, it's basically very early night vision. You can find picture of Panther tanks with similar equipment.
To be honest I wish to get this tank more than the double barrel tank. It looks like a fun medium tank with good turret armor than a heavy with this "weak" hull.
yeah as QB said, it feels more like a E50 than the 75... in personal feeling i just think it is a tiger 2 with a fancy engine and turret... nothing much to be said.
Saw this thing for the 1st time and I was two tiers below in my French light tank and the little eyes on the turret were the only spot I could pen

This tank is like an fcm 50t and a VK 75.01 had a baby and it grew up
A E75 with a Maus engine. 30mm less frontal armor but 20mm more side armor, 110mm more turret armor and 40mm more side armor than the Löwe but weighs 10 tons less - light weight heavy armor (Stalino armor?)
Can't wait to see the other game from the stream in this tank that was a hell of a game

@@deathmetal0073 Yeah but the Panthers have historically been ptetty armored tanks, especially the Panther 2, while the TS is a pretty fast heavy tank. And in game the Panther 2 just feels awful, it's not really as competitive. The only reason I played it was because I wanted the E50 M.

Currently we have 108 tier 8 premium tanks...
But only 50 tech tree tanks...
And 2 unassigned tanks as the tech tree version of the IS-3A and the T-44-FL, like the chieftain, havent been released even though added.
Though it's a tier 8 premium, in my opinion it is definetelly a nice new tank, with an E50M playstyle that we rarely see in this tier, it has it's weakspots and weaknesses wich makes it balanced in a good way, I think WG did good on this one and I rarely say that

Frankly getting this vehicle, objectively speaking, is still a good outcome from opening, let's say, 11 to 20 boxes. It does look like a decent vehicle, it's just that some of us(me) already have too many premium tanks so getting something unique is really the only outcome I care about
Three years on I played this tonight 15 games, enemies just default gold spammed it and shot through the armour regardless of hull down or side-scraping. Also the MM is crazy during a marathon, mostly tier 10 games.

Id rather see a Turbo Panther with an autoloader.
Also that periscope in front of the cupola is most likely an alternate gunner sight, typically meant for spotting targets over a ridge-line or a burm. Similar optics are on most modern MBTs
I'm feeling sad about the Tiger II now. Everything about it is worse than the E75 TS. The only reason some people play this tank is because they either didn't know it's bad before getting it or they just want to get the E75.
Nice tank, absolutely a bonus. No way I'm aiming to get this, but that double barrel tank? That's what everyone wants.
to be honest: Wargaming was promising buffs to the Tiger II. I think, that we are seeing a "new" Tiger II gun on the E75 TS. maybe with a bit better accuracy/gun handling and DPM. That would by far not solve all problems with the tank. But a fast firing, 360 gun would make the Tiger II a more remarkable tank again.
My first Tier VIII and my first heavy. Well, I'll try to not get a target painted on my back. Thanks for the overview and tips on how to use it in combat.
I like that WG put in German fast heavy tank in the game because it is meta. I hope they will do it more in the future.

you can probably buy that tank after the holiday ops as usual prem tanks. just not during the ops. and that is fine by me. i just don't think they will make the same mistake again, as they did last year. or maybe, they thought they will put is3a on sale later too, but as it got so much negative feedback, they came to a conclusion, that they will never sell it again. and that is also fine.

Wargaming could have trouble selling as many premium tanks in the future. A French court has ruled that digital products should be re-sold like physical products. Of course a 2nd hand digital tank is as good as a new digital tank. Players would buy 2nd hand tanks at a discount to buying from Wargaming, and Wargaming would not receive the transaction funds. This could impact all digital products from computer games to movies, music, books etc. Pretty much any digital download. It is basically an extension of Property Rights into the ditigal market.
I believe that pod on the top has to do with signaling (radio operator) like it does on the German superheavy Maus.

So not only do they make premium tanks better than TT tanks, but now they make premium tanks that completely out class older premium tanks. RIP King tiger and RIP Lowe

I think it's Funny looking Back at some of these "New" Tank Reviews and Previews and seeing how the Game has Chnaged since then... That 80 Rounds the Lowe Carries even at this Point, while a Hell of a Lot of Ammo, was Close to Marginal even when Top Tiered back then because you'd get Faced against the New Sub Tier 9 and 10 "Tier 8's" that were starting to really Ramp Up in Production... These Days the Lowe and E75 TS are at a Defecit on the Battlefield despite the APCR Pen and Ammo Count of the Lowe and the Mobility and Damage per Shell Boost of the E75 TS... Getting about Time to Update some of the Older Hardware in the Game WG, you're Tried and True Classics are being Left Behind to Grab a Buck from the Lazy and Ignorant on New Gadjets and Baubbles...
Would Love to see the 128mm get Put onto the Lowe to get it Back in Line with the Rest, don't even have to Change anytrhing Else, just get the Gun Propped Up... I haven't Played the TS as much as I'd hoped to to say what would Help it Most, I really need to get it out More, and I may do that Next Frontline, but the Gun Handling on this one has always been my Main Sticking Point more than anything else... Main Reason it never get's Played in Pub's... Same for my Renegade, they just don't seem to get the Play Time they used to when I got'em... I'll take the T77 out before I'll take the Renegade for the Burst Damage... You might wanna do that QB, take a Revisit Review to some of the Older Tanks in the Game and see how they're Fairing in this Day and Age of WoT...
Looks good, although it has worse penetration than my tier 8 American T34, it is way faster, better haul armor and similar turret armor to my T34, I grab some of those loot boxes or buy it in store.
People hate on this tank because they don’t know how to play it but the people who know how to play it it’s actually a pretty fun and decent tank
Speed of the old E75 before they nerfed the engine. 1200 HP on that thing was fantastic.
WG said on their Twitch channel that you will only be able to get Object 703 II and E 75 TS through the paid large boxes.
@0:46 I'm wondering why you never seem to compare tanks to their actual tech tree counterpart in these any more. Instead, we get other premiums (fair enough if you're *only* trying to figure out what to pay money for), or tanks from different classes and/or tiers.
Because QB doesn't even realize anymore he is just an advertisement for WG pay to win mechanics and gambling nonsense.
Because there are no tech tree counterparts anymore. You want to compare the E-75 TS to the Tiger II? It's flat out better. There you go. You want to compare a Lowe to the Tiger II? It's flat out better. You want to compare it to the 53TP? Sacrifices some alpha damage but otherwise is flat out better.
It's sad that's what Tier 8 has become, but Tier 8 is no longer the Tier of tech tree tanks. It's the Tier of Premium tanks, and nothing more.
Im pretty sure quickybaby has already noticed that wg now just makes all the prem vehicles flat out better than their tech tree counterpart, so why waste time comparing those tanks if you know the answer?

On the blitz version the e75 ts has an e50 style turret and is barely angled
To me it feels like the old school PZ IV before the nerf hammer hit it. this plays like that PZ did but all grown up . Tanks when it can go hull down or ridge line but it is a sniper. just like the play style of the old PZ IV i miss from days gone by. the teir 5 or the tier 6 premi. But all grown up .
When was the last time the Tiger 2 got a buff?

QB you have no idea how these values work...let me explain:
For ever km/h a tank moves and for every degree/sec the turret turns, x1 dispersion value is added to the base accuracy.
Thus, the spread during movement and the spread during (turret) traverse are linked to the respective speed / traverse speeds.
0.12 on moving may be better than 0.10 on traverse because 40km/h * 0.12 is less than 0.12 * 50deg/sec. They may also be worse because 0.12 * 60km/h is more than 0.12 * 40deg/sec., you get the point.
I play wot blitz and even tho both games are near identical i find it odd that this tank is named Keiler there, E 75 ts in blitz has same chassis but more square turret, Keiler is better version of wot E75 ts though, only 800horsepower so acceleration is terrible without good consumables(luckily as a pretty profitable premium you can bring anything without having to worry about credits), but dpm is slightly higher and better hull in the front and sides, rear is the same. Turret front actually has 30mm less armor but turret rear has more, Keiler also has 1850HP instead of 1500. It feels like Maus of tier 8 since i bought it only 5 days ago as my first heavy and have had 2 rouns with it where i blocked 5000+ damage, like the maus if you angle it well you can hold back multiple enemy heavy tanks without worrying about getting shredded, its increased armor means if angled and lower plate is hidden no tier 7 even with premium rounds can pen you, very few tier 8 tanks will be able to do anything as well. Only tier 9 tanks pose a threat. Unless you are alone and get rushed, then any tier will end you in sheer numbers

it was released like a month ago for 25$
I got it and I like it so far, but the needle for Ace's gets moved so far, by the time most of us can get the tank, it makes it hard.
