It was me bidding against you on the Monteverdi! Like you I didn’t look at it before hand as I assumed I couldn’t afford it. Unfortunately my tow car was out of action which limited my bidding. I’m pleased it’s gone to a good home and I look forward to seeing the progress.

@@ThatsClassiccars I almost did bid again! I saw that one on eBay. The Janspeed also went to an eBay opportunist. I only went to watch the auction really as I have an identical car to the Wood and Pickett that didn’t sell. I soon found my hand going up though haha.

Saw this car at the1970 motor show Earls Court . A friend chose between a Range Rover and a Volvo the Volvo rotted away decades ago .!!!
