@@shevilla6937 Um makeup won't ruin your skin unless you sleep with makeup on, so if you wear makeup all day and remove it before sleeping then your skin will be good and fine :) Also you should always make sure to buy the right makeup products that don't contain harmful chemicals, that may be the reason of why many makeup products might ruin your skin .-.

@@yurika_edits Oof heavy relate man. When I was a beginner I needed to experiment with makeup everyday to see what looks good on me and whatnot. I would get upset when some of the pretty pastel or lighter shades didn't show up on me cuz of my skin color and having discoloration on top of that was the worse thing. Back in the days, I would stick to a dark purple eyeshadow for everyday looks cuz that is the only thing that was visible on me. But now I know how to make those lighter shades show up on me. Use a primer or a concealer of the same shade as your skin. Or use a lipstick the same shade of you eyeshadow as the base. It will do the job.
@@prithyachan333 well i usually also face the problem of hyperpigmentation in certain areas. So when i do base, no matter how well I contour or conceal, i still end up looking like I painted on my face. It never looks natural. And getting such pretty lipstick effect is impossible since my lips are two toned and dark purple on the edges. Even concealer cant hide it.
