man, years ago when I was a kid (can't remember the age but I was young) I forgot how to swim and jumped straight in to the pool, next thing you know I'm sinking and just trying my hardest to keep my head afloat. that was honestly traumatising for me, what's really strange is I knew how to swim, I was obviously so young I forgot. Swimming is natural for me, and I always thought why don't people float on their back, until I remembered that memory! I actually completely forgot it happened, kind of wish I repressed that memory hahaha but I actually understand why people drown now, it's literally panic. funny how something that traumatised you, doesn't become a fear if you actually face that fear. if I hadn't of touched water since then, I know for a fact I would have had a fear of deep water.

I drowned once as a teenager. The boys who rescued me didn't realize anything was wrong. I couldn't cry out because every time I tried water got in my mouth. Teach your kids at the pool that drowning is silent and not very much splashing
This is so important. When I almost drowned in a wave pool, I was silent. I had a moment of clarity where I saw a ladder and somehow managed to doggy paddle over to it even though I was little and could barely swim. I started climbing out and the lifeguard yelled at me at first and said I couldn't use it, then she saw me collapse and cough up water and she rushed down and helped me. She kept saying, "I had no idea you needed help, I'm so sorry!" This would've been the late 90's, and I really hope training is better now! I know how to swim well now but I'll still never completely shake the fear of drowning because of it!

Thank you for this video. I’ve had 2 near drowning experiences as a young adult and I panic to even put my head underwater. I hope by watching these videos l can finally try to get swimming lessons without being afraid.
Advice on how to not panic would help people I think. For me, floating on my back helped me calm down so I could use my arms to paddle back to shore while floating on my back. Not seeing how far I was from shore helped me stay calm enough to get back. I'm glad I figured that out before things got too bad.
Another way to lower the levels of panic is to come up with an emergency plan before going into the water. Knowing what to do makes you feel safer and calmer!
When you are at the pool, practice floating like they taught in the video. That way, you will be ready if you need to float in an emergency. I float all the time anyway, because it's relaxing to me.
I tried it last week but it didn't work. I can only float with my face down. I'm practicing treading water but I often get panic when I feel like I'm out of breath and I start sinking. It seems I can't keep my head above the water for over 10 sec
Yesterday, I got drawned into a deep pond, and I had no experience of swimming, even I had not even gone around ponds or rivers. But accidentally yesterday I slept over mud and drawn into the pond, I had no idea what to do, I just stopped my breath for at least 1 to 1:30 mins, and there were some of my friends around me but they didn't notice while I was drawning, It had been left up to 3 min, my friends noticed that I was not around. One of my friend jumped into the pond and searched me for more than 1 min. Then he found me and lift me over the water. It had been more than 4 minutes, I have drawned into the water, my eyes was remained open but, I was not moving or speaking, I was completely unconscious, they pushed my stomach and removed water, one of my friend immidiately called my father and my father and my uncle took me to the hospital, in half of the road I reacted and gave some movement, at that time I was thinking that I was dreaming, my father was beside me amd trying to talk to me, but I was not able to identify his voice as I am 90% unconscious, now I am in hospital and I am curing.. Thanks to my friend who came tp save me. If it was one min more late, I don't think I was survived.
Stan Mann I swim for squad, (really high level swimming) so I doubt I will drown, but the one theme I almost drowned was when somebody was pushing me under the water (he didn’t mean to hurt me -I think) but I swam my way out of that.
And yes i already almost drown alot of time i dont know what it was called in english or i might but hard to remember my feet just feel so hard and it was hard to swim and i just lay my bakck and float and while one oh my hand is in my leg one is moving calmly so i can move on the water 😅😅 saved myself lot of times in the same situation 😅😅
Same. I walked out and swept off the edge of a boat landing. If u panic u drown, your peers panic they just stare, in split second save yourself. Best believe I turned into a speed boat.. these days I'm pretty sure some float above the neck while others are built to breach and submerge.
Had a near drowning experience twice in two rivers. Yesterday was the second time, I'm grateful that my friends were there. That feeling of nothingness at the end of your feet is just 🥶
So 3 times i have almost drowned and saved Last time was yesterday,i knew what i had to do,but panic got me. I was in.the standing position and trying to stay afloat but i was unable to get on my back.I also couldnt lean forward so i could swim back. Can anyone suggest any tips for this?
I just learned swimming couple of weeks ago ... It's feel me awesome and energetic at the age of 46 ..never felt tired in the water and enjoyed hours of hours .
If you're a swimmer (of any style and proficiency level) you should train to extend your endurance. Most people focus on speed when swimming, but in open water endurance is critical. Try alternating styles to prevent muscle cramps and sores, stop to rest whenever you feel tired, don't fight currents straight on (swim diagonally to the water movement) and don't try to ride on top of the waves unless they're too wide to swim through on a normal breath. Generally the least tiring swim style is breaststroke, with slow backstroke as the sore preventing alternate. If you're mainly a crawler, slow down your foot kicks to preserve more energy and rest often in the back floating position.
I did almost drown when I was 6. I got too curious about how deep Lake Calis is, and when my feet couldn't get to the ground, my instincts made me panic. Luckily, I was also smart enough to backstroke to shallow waters while that was happening back then. But now that I am older, I know more tips to prevent that from happening in the first place. Never doing that again. 😕
Hey for people that dont know how to swim. I advise when treading water not to move your hands or feet only, but use them both. Because just treading with one of those separately without the assist of the other, makes it harder. Unless youre experienced already
I’m watching this video because I came close to drowning today in the sea of Lanzarote. I did exactly what the vid tells you not to do ‘panic’. Although I wasn’t waving my hands and only shouting help I became fatigued very quickly due to a fast current. With the tide pulling me away from the boat I became more desperate and began moving my arms and legs erratically. I quickly began to breath and swallow water as I struggled to stay above the water. To cut a long story short, if it wasn’t for someone knowing how to rescue me in time I probably wouldn’t be here now, typing this comment. I feel scared of this possibly happening to me again but after watching this and knowing the support of my friends I will never put myself in that position again.
Backstroke is one of my favourite positions to swim and float. It’s so relaxing and effortless. If i was ever in an emergency situation it would be my go to.
I am living my second life from today morning. I am going to learn swimming at the earliest and other life saving skills. One can not be lucky every time but should be prepare for whatever may come. Cheers!!!
I notice the panic comes when you try to stay afloat and there are waves to to over come that may wash water over your face, if its in the ocean then salt water adds to the anxiety causing one to clear thier eyes from the salt water which may be irritating for some. I find that when one is calm yes you have control but the minute you encounter high wave that washes over your face anxiety starts to kick in
I started to drown a year back but I lucky remembered a video that kicked in my memory as I was drowning “stay calm start paddling and moving your arms in a forward motion” I got out of that pool safely with more confidence and less fear surprisingly!
There have been 3 times where I have almost drowned. Of those 3 times, which is how I survived is to remain calm and be aware of what your body is doing. Notice actions that make you sink and actions that make you float eg moving arms upwards makes you sink and thrashing your legs also can make you sink too. I've never really been one to float on my back in these times even though I learnt from an early age but I managed to stay afloat with treading water. What every you are comfortable with.

I drowned in sea.😭😭😭 Then I don't know what to do..then I remember what my sister teaches me what to do when someone is drowning..then I start floating and swim to back.. But I was panic
I was drowned at a river. It was a moment of deep darkness, silent. When u touched my feet to the down of river (8feet) i pushed my body upwards and shouted for help. My yelling helped to gather peoples attention and again i submerged. Without any oxygen left in my body. Because i shouted for help as i rose above water. Finally at last few seconds of my life.I experienced a push with hand towards nowhere.anf i was above 2 feet avove water and another boy came and took me to shore . That was the most precious moment of my life and i have taken oath to learn swimming.
When my nose and mouth go under the water, my brain freezes and I naturally panic as I cannot breath. It's like the brain presses the Emergency button and takes full control of my thinking and my lungs. I remember, using my hands to purposefully hold the nose and mouth closed so that no water goes in, but as I submerge more, more is the panic, more is the difficulty of keeping my lungs under control. Its very easy to just say "Don't Panic", when the brain doesn't let you stay calm, its a different story. I remember taking my swimmer/acrophobic friend on the edge of the terrace of my building and telling him to stay calm, he would freeze as he would go close to the edge of the building. Panicking isn't something that you do consciously, it's the brain taking control of your body completely and leaving no space for you to think or act. I have heard many many lectures from my swimming teachers and friends to stay calm and how to "naturally" float. But it's just too impossible to explain what's my brain doing when I am under water. One way to explain the hydrophobia that I have, is, say, I submerge you under water and I take full control over your body and your lungs, I purposefully use your body to first make you submerge under water(cause you don't have control) and then I purposefully use the lungs to pull air(water) in while you are under water. You would fight the urge to breath by using your hands somehow to cover your nose and mouth, but I am more powerful, I use my power to force you to pull air(water) in, and stop you from surfacing, what would you do in such a situation?. I know, I know, you would tell me that I have to fight that monster inside my head, I have heard that a lot. I have tried a lot to get rid of this embarrassing disability. It stops me from going anywhere near water, it's like putting a person fearing spiders inside a cell full of tarantulas. I have no words how to explain this, my fear wouldn't just go away by typing away on some RUclips video, I have tried a lot, and I am not giving up either. As I type, I feel like, venting all of my anger and frustration out on the head my elder brother, who picked me up and threw me in the deep end of the swimming pool when I was barely 10. I know, that I can't undo that terrifying event and that I have to fight it out somehow, but it's just feels like the most tiring and frustrating thing in this world. I just wish there would be an easier alternative, but I know there doesn't exist any such alternative. I am powered by my dream of swimming under water some day and I will make efforts in that direction constantly. I wish I don't become part of some just-another-drowning-statistic during this endeavor. 🤞
Your phobia for water could be a manifestation of PTSD which resulted from you being thrown into a deep pool when you were a kid. A therapist can help you overcome it
Me and one of my friends went to a big river and he was trying to teach me how to swim. Somehow we got to the deep waters and I was drowning. I was holding him tight and so he was unable to help me at all. I thought I am going to die. Water went up to the shoulders and suddenly we saw a man coming from a distance on a boat and he saved us. I need to learn how to swim soon. Thank you so much for the video. It helps a lot.
In my opinion if someone treading water or floating in order not to drown then how will lifeguard going to know they need help? That will looked like everything under control and they’re just relaxed and enjoyed the water. Thought people drowned because they don’t know how to swim or experienced medical emergency? It will be hard to fight instinct to panic. I imagine that’s terrifying. What you said made sense but...I don’t know...
When you are relaxed and calm, you can think of strategies to swim back and safe energy, that's the point, then you can swin back little by little. If you do know how to swim then you shouldn't be that far. I think so....
Start screaming...lol stop stressing me out . I don’t know.. there must be others around to call for emergencies . Now you’re making it harder for a drowning person to stay calm to tread water and float.
At least you're not sinking into the water (if you aren't a good swimmer). And you can still yell. But if you know how to swim you can raise a hand out of the water while swimming, so learn to swim to do that.
Well, most of the time the lifeguards are used to unconscious swimmers floating on their front and/or back. But if that is the case, you can just swim on your back to shore or shallower waters to get control.
I am 36...and doesn't know how to swim....now I am thinking seriously since I am a patient with a history of back pain and doctors told me to swim in order to survive....your video is mighty helpful....
There was a strong undercurrent , for a second I panicked I could see my son on the sand. I knew I had to live for him. A clam came over me and I relaxed. I was in great shape and allowed the tide to bring me in. Don't fight the tide it's stronger than you.
I think I would drown if water came into my eyes n nose. As in, how can you save yourself in a choppy sea, wr the waves are continuously hitting you. I can float on myback very well. But if a tiny wave breaks over me. I'll panic
Many years ago, I've watched a segment in National Geograpic about what to do when you find yourself in the deep water. They showed this experiment of what will happen if you will panic in that situation. I was thankful I watched it because a few times i found myself in that situation and things would have gotten worst if I panic.
Very Trure!! My husband knows how to swim very well, but last week when he fell from a canoe into the river he panicked and he was wearing a life jacket, but he felt that he couldn't breathe out because he had some health problems. Then he swam to the shore after I talked to him calmly and gave him some little help.
Lol..u will go in the middle of water to show him this video while he is drowning...u better save him ...or u will also drown there with him while watching the video
I'm 23 years old and thought myself to move forward, but don't know how to stay above. Want to learn so much that I didn't had the chance to do when I was little
I used to be drown under the water on my summer vacation hitting to the beach last year. At that moment, I was extremely afraid and didnt know what to do. When I tried to swim faster and faster then I felt tired and almost out of breath so i put my body down. I couldnt call for help. My mom saw it then she shouted and screamed to attract other attentions nearby. So that is the reason why until now I'm still afraid of water and never wanna go to the beach. Anyway, I still have to learn to swim more and i will try doing your helpful tips. Thank you !!!
wait? how on earth does floating consume more energy? it's your breathing that causes you to be buoyant, unless you mean breathing uses too much energy...
Today, my friend died of drowning. No words at my disposal rn. Only thing i can do now is to learn where he went wrong and teach myself and everyone i meet from now on to swim and how not to get drown.
Last time i swim with my classmates i was swinming in 5to,6 feet when my friend pushed my classmate then he doesnt know if it is deep then i was there he was pulling me down and i cant balance my kicks because he is in panic mode i always tell him dont panic i wont help you but he still panic i cant bring him up because he is so heavy and doesnt know how to swim and hes puling me down i tried reaching the edge of the pool to let him go their and i almost lost my last breath when he keep puling me down but i said to myself dont panic if panic i wont be even commentating this now but he totally gets to safety im just sharing this story for what happen to my friend thats why its important to know how to swim
I had an accident today and that's why I'm here now, to understand what I did wrong and how to practice on how to prevent that again in the future. That was TERRIFYING today. But I'm going to still go to the pool, this time just equipped with more knowledge and wisdom on what and what not to do.
I was actually curious how people drown, I have always thought to myself why you don't just float on your back, and ended up coming across this video. it's confusing because I'd have thought this would be common knowledge, but at the same time people panic and don't think rationally.
Yes I almost drowned when I was 4 and 6 luckily I know what to do thank you for more information and I will spread it as always since I'ma fan I will always be looking forward to all of youre videos bright side stay bright and rise as always
The thing with treading and floating in this context is that you wanna be comfortable enough with water to take a wave or take a mouthful of water and recover. If you panic too easily then it's all for nothing, because you won't be able to control every little thing. So you really want to practice being in the water, knowing what it feels like, even to mess up. I would be pretty surprised if someone survived in the water just from watching a RUclips video like this. If you're worried about not being able to survive in water, you gotta get in the water and learn how.
Thanks for the useful important information, scientifically explained! If water enters your nose and mouth due to waves in ocean, what to do at that moment, no panic is the first thing but how to regulate the breathing? Is there any technique to do this?
No idea but I do know that when we are babies we can technically swim/float on ourselves. It's something our brains forget how to do because most people don't start swimming lessons until we're between 5 and 10
were you in a pool? if you’re in a pool just sink yourself to the bottom with your body curled. when you feel like you’re not panicking anymore swim straight up to the ledge
@@frankiemffocean One issue. We can't hold our breath for long, so while one might try to calm down at the bottom, they can go unconscious if they don't resurface before they run out of air and drown at the same time.
So Norman, next time you go swimming, think of a plan in case you start to struggle before going in. That way, you feel safer. And if you do start to drown, calm down and remember your plan. You should also float if you feel that you are going to start drowning.
I was river rafting with my friends and i feel out of boat, the river was flowing fast so no point of swimming left! I hit a rock with my stomach but was saved by the lifeguard. I rafted again the next week to come over my phobia and I'm still alive! ❤️
You float up the wave and down the other side.Looked at another way, the wave pushes you up as it goes under you. Unless it is breaking ie near the shore - then it just smashes into you!
The backfloat is a great technique for saving yourself from drowning but what if you go far from shore and can't feel your legs touching the sand (The most horrible experience i have ever had) so you do a backfloat but no one is saving you because there are'nt any lifeguards? And what about the waves coming at your face when you are backfloat? All the water goes in your mouth and nose and for a minute it feels like you can't breathe?
This saved my life when I jumped off the boat today. The anchor was broken and the boat was floating away from me without anyone's notice. I keep calling for help and floating when I was tired until people saw me.

Thanks to my friend who came tp save me. If it was one min more late, I don't think I was survived.
if you're calm and floating, wouldn't the lifeguard think you're alright and never attempt to save you?
No, when you see him nearby, or hear him/a boat or any signs of life, start screaming/making signs which can attract their attention
Floating doesn't mean u don't call for help.....😆😆😆😆 it buys u time and energy. If u can't float stay out of the water or life vest all the way.
Just shout help when he sees you
That's what I thought, too.
Y’all better learn it
Don't panic is good advice...but the 2 times i almost drowned nobody was rescuing me. Had to swim my way out.
Stan Mann I swim for squad, (really high level swimming) so I doubt I will drown, but the one theme I almost drowned was when somebody was pushing me under the water (he didn’t mean to hurt me -I think) but I swam my way out of that.
Best way is to save your own self instead of trying to get attention and got someone to save you cuz it will end up wasting the same stamina 😅😅
😢😢
Same. I walked out and swept off the edge of a boat landing. If u panic u drown, your peers panic they just stare, in split second save yourself. Best believe I turned into a speed boat.. these days I'm pretty sure some float above the neck while others are built to breach and submerge.
So when you are drowning do following things:-
1) Don't panic
2) Trading
3) Don't panic
4) Float
5) Don't panic
.
.
.
.
100) Don't panic
Don't Trade while in water
AND SWIM
As an Indian all you can think of is trading even in water huh? Business minded even on the brink of death lol.
Dont get mad I'm Indian too
PoSeiDoN VeNuH it’s a misspelling

Had a near drowning experience twice in two rivers. Yesterday was the second time, I'm grateful that my friends were there. That feeling of nothingness at the end of your feet is just 🥶
ye ik that feeling so i dont rlly recommend swimming where the water is above ur shoulder unless if ur trained af
So 3 times i have almost drowned and saved
Last time was yesterday,i knew what i had to do,but panic got me.
I was in.the standing position and trying to stay afloat but i was unable to get on my back.I also couldnt lean forward so i could swim back.
Can anyone suggest any tips for this?
This is supposed to be comforting but now I'm just anxious 😂
Ally B 🤣
Man: Is drowning
Music: 🔥💯💯🔊🎵🎶
True😂😂
i feel like most ppl think abt how deep the water is and fear of drowning.
how do you dive off a bridge on accident into the water?
I just learned swimming couple of weeks ago ... It's feel me awesome and energetic at the age of 46 ..never felt tired in the water and enjoyed hours of hours .
How will the rescuer knows you are drowning if you are chilling like that
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
When u start drowning call for help and then you chill
Yeah The rescuer will never notice ur Drowning
You will start drifting further towards the ocean. Lifeguards will pay attention to this.
Yes thats wht i was thinking. I often float and everybody knows im relaxing. Noone come to rescue u .☹
I watched this video and confidently go into water
"Now watching again from heaven"
Lol
That’s a joke.
Legendary
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂hello up there
Never say such cheap jokes..
Unless youre experienced already
i only know how to back float but my mind says when i was drowing say hello i mean help
Same happened with me today in a pool, I can totally relate you
Same happened to me in a pool like 2 months ago....I can't really explain my mental situation at that time
From INDIA ...Thank you it is really needed
I keep watching this video to keep this in mind in the brain. So very important.
For any adults who want to learn to swim.... Nitro Swim has a really awesome series of adult swimming lesson videos on RUclips... I highly recommend them as a supplement (or even instead of) your lessons. So many commenters say how much more helpful the video instructor is than their in-real-life swim instructor. Good luck, you CAN do it!
Pretty cool thanks for sharing!!! Miss getting out and swimming especially just laying there on the back and floating by as the sun just bathes you, amazing!!!!
I drowned in sea.😭😭😭
Then I don't know what to do..then I remember what my sister teaches me what to do when someone is drowning..then I start floating and swim to back..
But I was panic
mu sh are t you suppose to be dead
You're amazing and strong. You saved your own life. Congrats. Celebrate for being alive. Cheers.
You did it!!
You cpuldnt have drowned if you are alive you were drowning
You couldn't be alive if you drowned. Lolllllllll. A dead person is watching this
i almost drowned in nine foot water and this helped me survive💓
I'm proud of you for surviving! You might be a lifeguard one day. 👍
This is so great!! Thank you so much! Heading to the lake tomorrow; this knowledge will help a lot.
A therapist can help you overcome it
It’s probably important to note that these techniques will take some practice but they are worth learning
The best way to save yourself from drowning.. don't go into the water 🤤😁
Good luck
Never late to learn
😁😁😁😂😂😂
Just water man is fun man not a problem
What if you fall in or get knocked in, or drive off of a bridge by accident?
😁😁😁😆😆😆👍🥰
Me and one of my friends went to a big river and he was trying to teach me how to swim. Somehow we got to the deep waters and I was drowning. I was holding him tight and so he was unable to help me at all. I thought I am going to die. Water went up to the shoulders and suddenly we saw a man coming from a distance on a boat and he saved us. I need to learn how to swim soon. Thank you so much for the video. It helps a lot.
Thanks! This video saved my life. Thanks infinite times man...You saved a human
I think so....
вut whαt íf thєrє íѕ nσ lífєguαrd?
Start screaming...lol stop stressing me out . I don’t know.. there must be others around to call for emergencies . Now you’re making it harder for a drowning person to stay calm to tread water and float.
@@jennienguyen7137 hahaha you reminded me of my sis whenever I irritate her.
PoSeiDoN VeNuH 😁thanks I think. I like your name. Stop teasing your sister
There is one little problem. If you don't panic and you float calmly in the water nobody is coming to save you. 😊
At least you're not sinking into the water (if you aren't a good swimmer). And you can still yell.
But if you know how to swim you can raise a hand out of the water while swimming, so learn to swim to do that.
Yell help and say “help! Im trying not to panic!” 😌
You can still talk while you are in the water
Well, most of the time the lifeguards are used to unconscious swimmers floating on their front and/or back. But if that is the case, you can just swim on your back to shore or shallower waters to get control.
Always wondered how as an avid long distance swimmer I find it very difficult to lay float.
bien joue
I am 36...and doesn't know how to swim....now I am thinking seriously since I am a patient with a history of back pain and doctors told me to swim in order to survive....your video is mighty helpful....
There was a strong undercurrent , for a second I panicked I could see my son on the sand. I knew I had to live for him. A clam came over me and I relaxed. I was in great shape and allowed the tide to bring me in. Don't fight the tide it's stronger than you.
if you are drowning there's only two options left..either drink all d water or d water will drink you😂
😂😂
I think I would drown if water came into my eyes n nose. As in, how can you save yourself in a choppy sea, wr the waves are continuously hitting you. I can float on myback very well. But if a tiny wave breaks over me. I'll panic
@@vimladsouza4337 DON’T panic. Tread water if you need to!
This video is making me More Panic & Anxious...
Float, breathe and look up in the sky(has a calming effect)
Many years ago, I've watched a segment in National Geograpic about what to do when you find yourself in the deep water. They showed this experiment of what will happen if you will panic in that situation. I was thankful I watched it because a few times i found myself in that situation and things would have gotten worst if I panic.
Very Trure!!
My husband knows how to swim very well, but last week when he fell from a canoe into the river he panicked and he was wearing a life jacket, but he felt that he couldn't breathe out because he had some health problems. Then he swam to the shore after I talked to him calmly and gave him some little help.
Me:Help I'm drowning I'm drowning!
Lifeguard:watch this video
Thank you so much. Now i will save this video and show this video to anyone who is drowning. 😜
You are welcome! 😊
i dont wanna be that guy but if they drowning how you gonna show em
Lol..u will go in the middle of water to show him this video while he is drowning...u better save him ...or u will also drown there with him while watching the video
Bright side couldn't get the sarcasm intended😂😂
Its great to see the 'Silver Surfer' learning swimming. Bravo! 🤣
Never be in a vertical position , you need an extra energy to float , just stay horizontal and there's no way you could drown
Exactly. That is the whole point of the ability to float on your back.
wait? how on earth does floating consume more energy? it's your breathing that causes you to be buoyant, unless you mean breathing uses too much energy...
But if there is water waves it will not work
Thanks for such informative and life saving video.
Floating on my back has saved me many times.
Today, my friend died of drowning. No words at my disposal rn. Only thing i can do now is to learn where he went wrong and teach myself and everyone i meet from now on to swim and how not to get drown.
This is the first totally correct brightside video I have ever watched!
Thank you so much you saved my life you are the best RUclipsr on town
No
THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU SAVED MY LIFE
Last time i swim with my classmates i was swinming in 5to,6 feet when my friend pushed my classmate then he doesnt know if it is deep then i was there he was pulling me down and i cant balance my kicks because he is in panic mode i always tell him dont panic i wont help you but he still panic i cant bring him up because he is so heavy and doesnt know how to swim and hes puling me down i tried reaching the edge of the pool to let him go their and i almost lost my last breath when he keep puling me down but i said to myself dont panic if panic i wont be even commentating this now but he totally gets to safety im just sharing this story for what happen to my friend thats why its important to know how to swim
At 05:24 you say that the palms have to face the sky but during the whole video (I mean the floating section) they're facing down.
I had an accident today and that's why I'm here now, to understand what I did wrong and how to practice on how to prevent that again in the future. That was TERRIFYING today. But I'm going to still go to the pool, this time just equipped with more knowledge and wisdom on what and what not to do.
I think floating is the best way. Because trending is hard to master, unlike floating.
Them :Don't panic
Me : Panicking is the only thing I can do, poor me
I was actually curious how people drown, I have always thought to myself why you don't just float on your back, and ended up coming across this video.
it's confusing because I'd have thought this would be common knowledge, but at the same time people panic and don't think rationally.
Yes I almost drowned when I was 4 and 6 luckily I know what to do thank you for more information and I will spread it as always since I'ma fan I will always be looking forward to all of youre videos bright side stay bright and rise as always
I was learning swimming... it's necessary for me..thank you for your tips
That beat is 🔥🔥🔥😂
Floats on water .. big wave knocks you over and you still drown
Treading is the best way to go in my opinion water can go into ur nose from behind if you float
Too complicated, I'll just drown.
I guess life means nothing to you .so why are you here
Seriously! 🙄
Ya me to
Wait I replied by accident please by accident I told and it’s not with me I am learning to swim
Thanks for the useful important information, scientifically explained!
If water enters your nose and mouth due to waves in ocean, what to do at that moment, no panic is the first thing but how to regulate the breathing? Is there any technique to do this?
I am swimming for around 7 years and I am a gold medalist in national level swimming competition.
Why is it that my dogs automatically start swimming when we put the in the water, but people must be taught?
No idea but I do know that when we are babies we can technically swim/float on ourselves. It's something our brains forget how to do because most people don't start swimming lessons until we're between 5 and 10
Yet we are the brightest smh
Using the backstroke is very good for saving your strength in the ocean.
UNLEASHING POTENTIAL - PSYCHOLOGY VIDEOS yep I agree
This made me more afraid of water
Plz I need to know should I exhale under water from nose or from mouth?
I remember I used to watch you every day but now I don't I'm just now getting back at watching n your videos
So yesterday I drowned.. TWICE, and not even one time I was calm. I kept moving my legs and arms in random movements and I couldn't even think.
how do you die twice
I drowned 2 times in the beach and I am lucky the water brought me back to the sand and I was spitting salty water from mouth eww
were you in a pool? if you’re in a pool just sink yourself to the bottom with your body curled. when you feel like you’re not panicking anymore swim straight up to the ledge
Thanks that helps me with learning to swim :)

My body floats like a rock. treading water for me is exhausting af while my friends can just casually have a conversation smh
DaBrute your just out of shape.
Treading in water is exhausting for a LOT of people. Including me. You’re not alone, bud.
Wooow I love this... thanks for the knowledge 🥰😍
I was river rafting with my friends and i feel out of boat, the river was flowing fast so no point of swimming left! I hit a rock with my stomach but was saved by the lifeguard. I rafted again the next week to come over my phobia and I'm still alive! ❤️
If your in the shallow end of a pool or something and you’re drowning just stand up
What if the waves are extremely strong?
Say: goodbye world
Don't panic.
but I never go in the water if the waves are too strong.😊
Better safe than sorry 😄
You float up the wave and down the other side.Looked at another way, the wave pushes you up as it goes under you. Unless it is breaking ie near the shore - then it just smashes into you!
Best tip by my fishermen friend
Don't go out to the sea when the wave is too strong.
Unless you wanna do some surfing.
Just chill there and don’t try to breath in the waves
I love your videos because you made me bright
Thank you! That means a lot for us! 😊
