That's pigs for you. Very stubborn critters. And surprisingly intelligent.
Good video...again...!!!! 🐄 🐖 Thanks Jeff for helping You did a great job 💛👍💛
Pigs go to market! Yeah!!! Hello Jeff, coming at a good time. Lucky you!
That was one smooth move with the pigs. Good luck.
New to the Channel and watching from lil ole england!! Loved the content and the relaxed way you deal with all your livestock....very impressive and good to know that good animal husbandary is alive and well in Wyoming!!! Thank you for sharing 👍👍👍
All that hay will only last 10 days some hungry cows glad there are ads on ur videos every cent helps also love how u spoil the cows with cake keep up the great work love the videos
Kudos to Jeff for rescuing #18 like did.
Of all the farm animals, pigs are my favorite, because they know how to build homes. Maybe not the strongest homes, some made from hay, others from twigs, but occasionally you get a smart one, that builds theirs from stone. 😂😂😂
I watched all the ads just for you hopefully it helps even if it’s a few extra cents 😂🤷♂️
Me too and I dislike ads.
I did as well
Always say that went better than I thought it would.
Aeroquip can now offer their product to pig producers! That system made loading those big pigs easy.
City slicker Jeff looks like he knows what's what.🐄🐷
Good video....enjoyed it a lot and loved the new calves...I hope u keep the little red one.
Love the cows and their babies.
Holy hay batman! I can see the grass greening up! There is a green hue over the land! Thank you Jeff for being in the right place at the right time! Number 19 is so darn cute! She looks great! 😍
You bet!
WooHoo! Holy Hay! Bravo Jeff! Adorable #19! Great vid Mike! ❤️🥰

Sorry, I forgot do a "big " shoutout to Jeff. Great job! saving that baby calf.
i dont feel sorry for the pigs but i love the little red one save her for the herd and make mummy happy
Nice hay for the cows.
Sounds funny now but 30 and 30 pretty much saved my life last year. I love to watch your genius on so many levels . Still want to make every effort get there in the fall at the buffalo roundup at Custer Park. Still want to shake your hand. Have another great day in heaven.
Ditto-made my day last year!
Hello.👍 Yay, you got hay. 🙌🙌 The pigs are huge! The calves are sweet. 😊 It's nice to have a helper. Be well. 🙂
Yes, thank you
@@OurWyomingLife your welcome.
#19 is definitely a keeper
Thanks again Mike...Only you can be so kind to the animals
THANKS MIKE THAT JEFF IS A GOOD FREIND AND WORKER TO YOU
Use marshmallows to get the pigs to move. Haven't done it myself, but have seen other peeps do it.
looks like really great quality hay 03:06 🐮
I always thought pigs smelled better as bacon!😀. These pigs sound like me in the morning before coffee.😉
You got that right!
As many pigs as I have loaded, never thought of using the cattle chute. Worked great. Good job..
LOL love that opening line.
Every video in the 30/30 just keeps getting better. I bet it was nice to have some Great Help.
After yesterday's post it was time for prayer. Not that you , your wife and little family aren't in my prayers anyway. God Bless! And HE has.
I appreciate that
Yet another great video... 👍 (I love escaping the ordinary with y'all!)
Glad you enjoy it!
Great video, Mike. Very informative.
Jeff came through in the clutch.
Keep that Ginger Baby!!!
First for the 2nd time. Glad you where able get more hay. Hay is always more expensive if bought late In the season. Glad more calves have arrived safely. I am so thankful that Jeff was able to save #18, for a city slicker you did a fine job.
Thanks 👍
Freezer camp! 😂😂 😂
Is there cake for pigs? Just cake? Real cake? Maybe that would move them faster up the ramp.
Fun to watch video.😂👍🇨🇦
Great job loading the pigs and also taking care of calves In distress
Nice job Jeff!!!
Lol. That's so funny Jeff! 😂
Those pigs are HUGE!!!! WOW.
Jeff is the calf whisper :)
Good save Jeff!
Mike it is so great how you build confidence in people and how you trust Jeff to help watch the herd. Great save on number 18!!! The fact that Erin knew what to do shows the great teamwork you all have!!!
agreed!!!
Oh my, gosh 😱,I forgot about the Pigs , they're Huge!
Your poor buddy the Calf freaked Him out!
Thanks for the 30&30 Mike👏.
JO JO IN VT 💕😄
Any time!
I forgot to say, GREAT SAVE JEFF. THAT WAS AWESOME
really need a good hay crop this year
Great job guys. Glad you have some help Mike. The calves are adorable.
Hey Mike.....we easily loaded pigs by backing the trailer up to their pen and feeding them in it for a week before butchering. They always ran in to get the feed.
Good Evening to Our Wyoming Life and all others too.
Beautiful calves. Love that little red one. I have to say I have moved hogs. Almost had one huge one take out my right knee once. It got around the board when I looked back. Not a good move on my part.
Great that your new helper saved a calf, sounds as if he's a good fit do far. And he's a pig herder too! Those hogs looked extra porky, much larger than no. 2 feeders. Hope the weather brings enough moisture to kick start your hay fields!
Jeff Lake , John Rivers and Tony Beach all went to see the Frank Oceans concert
🤔🤔🤔. Am thinking Jeff is a bit more knowledgeable than he’s leading on. What a great save with that little one. Was it just too cold? Now do you encourage the latest babies and moms to join the main herd closer in? Now that’s a great way to get those massive hogs into the trailer. Really worked smoothly after ya got in and showed them how good their accommodations was there waiting for them. Those clouds do look threatening so hope ya get a good deal of moisture from them. Love this 30/30 and surprises everyday 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Loved your video
Pretty cool video Mike nice too have some help loading pigs thanks foe sharing. Ang God Bless the one who saved the calf with Erin's help.
Glad you enjoyed it
Fun fact. Look towards pounds when big square bales and per head. At least here in oklahoma it works. Ish. I mainly feed round bales but yes I do feed big squares of alfalfa
that new hay looks a lot brighter than the old, best blend it at first to not cause problems.
agreed!
Hi mike,I live in California now ,but will be moving to South Dakota in a couple of months, anyway that I can volunteer to help out on your ranch, lived on a dairy farm, cows, bulls, pigs etc, when I was a child, loved it and miss it.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always!!
Wow, those pigs are huge! Can't wait to get some bacon and pork chops from the farm store.
Us too!
Hay is like gold right now , take care of them babies , number 19 is beautiful love that baby , stay warm guys , enjoyed another day of your life
I've been watching for awhile. "for I know the joys and discomforts of agricultural life and hold an inborn fondness for those associations which, even in hours of discouragement, I cannot deny
" Keep up the great work!
Blessings for the hay ....you made me cry over it ... I know it's not easy
Mike, I see you swapped the old lever gun for an M4. Was the optic the determining factor? Glad you had help to check cows and therefore saved that calf. Keep up the great work.
Great save Jeff on the baby calf. Boy these pigs were huge. Hope this is the last
I’ve been watching your channel form years and this was the easiest pig loading yet!!
🚜Awesome
Loved all the names used to get pigs up chute. Hope all those cows and calves get within the 20 acre fenceline before the snow hits.
Yay! More babies! I finally got a retired ambulance Im going to turn into a solar rv that I can do my graphic design work in and travel and take photos to addcto my stock images I sell on Etsy. After a rough divorce and losing everything I was devasted but managed to find a goal and a way to still have a new chance at happiness by going on the road to see beautiful places and to me its like a spiritual quest bucket list. You guys are definitley a big number one on that list! So once the place whose going to put my rig together has an opening I'll get started making my dream come true. Pretty sure I will miss branding and ranch round up but its a circle and all starts over again anyway. Just excited Im one step closer to see you guys in person and hopefully getting some hands on learning about ranch life.
Each Pig transfer to South Dakota seems to be yet another adventure. Preparing for it to be difficult it is easy thinking it will be okay it is difficult.
I'm glad y'all found some cow munchies.. I called everyone I could remember from my hay brokering days and seems everyone's short this year
It a huge shortage across the U.S..
Good job Jeff for saving and being there for# 18 calf. Glad you do 30/30 as city ppl don't have a clue what goes on or happens in the country. You sounded good Mike you would of never knew that the wind was blowing strongly, do you have a new mic. system ? The wind has been very strong here in Nw Iowa since Sunday night, some gusts as strong as 55# mph. Mike what is your calf ratio more bulls vs heifers or vis versa. Hope you have a great rest of the season of calving and nice and healthy calves. Anytime I talk to my buddies back in Cleveland Ohio I tell them to watch your channel as they don't have a clue what goes on out here and our ppl in government office.
Jeff did great saving the calf!! I hope he gets to name her if he chooses.
I would have been terrified to be in his position.
So glad all is going well. Our snow estimate doubled, I sure hope you get a foot of very wet snow. Will make it worth our snow.❤
That my friend is going to make some good ham and bacon
Compared to what my SIL has gone thru with his pigs in the past this was a piece of cake
looks real good
Always say that went better than I thought it would. That way you don’t get the ranch gods upset
You know your from the country when you think hay is beautiful or pretty. That is some pretty hay
Hello from Grand Forks
Hope this the last of the hay you have to but. Have a blessed evenings.
Did you change cameras your video quality is exceptional.
I remember when good alfalfa was $90 a ton delivered. That was 110lbs square bales, too. I can't imagine today what it goes for, especially this late in the season. Did a little rain dance for you guys and said a little prayer. Maybe the skies will open up and the grass will be tall and green. Heres hoping it happens for ya.
he makes a pretty good hand
I you give some straw or hay on the ramp, there will be no traffic jam :)
Big Hogs with that bacon
Cattle prod applied to pig backside may help! Lol
It snows in June in Wyoming.
best with straw or hay on ramp
Good video
You should keep that little brown one
That one cow that loves you and shows off her baby, well heck I would keep her little one too. If you can get such friendly bovines from breeding.
Beats getting chased around the four wheeler any day.
its the gap the pigs hate.put a board there next
time
Do you mean the gap in the side panels of the ramp? Cause that is what I was thinking.
Mmmm bacon! Lots of bacon! Stay safe and warm!
Good video today Mike.
Hi
Were the pigs the same as the super tiny ones you had gotten? Man they grew quick.
