To settle the Milk first debate I want to provide you with some knowledge that I learned through my time as a tea master (that was before my career in video prouction started). So the real answer is that it doesn't matter. In the old time they would put milk in first because the china they used was fragile and prone to thermal shock and would break because the tea had too much of a temperature contrast with the porcelaine.
