I just came back from umrah..all those rules are not imposed i think..i spend 6 days in Mekkah & 5 days in Madinah..you can hear azan as far as you can hear..speakers are loud enough around the masjidil haram & masjidil nabawi..live feed from both masjid from fajr until witir prayer..every hotel near the masjidil haram broadcast live feed adhan, prayer, quran recite..alhamdulillah..most importantly, the army & police of KSA very helpful & very patient..

Now Saudi are realizing true path of Islam. It is the 2nd Caliph (self proclaimed) long midnight prayers reciting long verses to get people tired such that they miss early morning prayers which is a must & also to get tired so that one does not appear for war during the day time. The call for prayers (Azan) was never loud during 1400 years ago like today has been done. It was at minimum. The rule for maintaining timings is perfect, Prophet said balance your life between religion & livelihood, for striving upon livelihood is an act of religion. Prophet said make it as your everyday routine, not only to show it is Ramazan. Saudi realizes everything now. Am not from Saudi nor from any Islamic country. The propaganda are people who create such content. Religion is not hours & hours you sit for prayers or reciting Holy book. Religion is a whole life- pray, recite, earn, eat, help, strive, give, educate, cleanliness, healthy, exercise, family time. Religion has mentioned all this is a way of worship of Allah! Saudi you have just realized it. Congrats. You will make your people active in all these mentioned perspectives!

Don't forget that loud speakers are new invention. We need to hear athan and that is the goal.
