Wow powerful sermon that I so desperately needed me and bf have been living together I have been deeply convicted because I know it’s not right . Of all the videos I have listened to on cohabitation your sermon is exactly what I needed to hear now to share this with my bf , we haven’t actually moved in together but staying together on the weekends . I took several pages of notes from your sermon some of the points that touched my heart was live in lovers are users, and they are foolish people to live outside the will of God, to skip over the marriage covenant and play house is slapping God in the face and if your willing to keeping living outside the will the God then your most likely not saved . I am gone sit my bf down and tell him how I feel and we are gone listen to this sermon together and talk to our pastor. Because I want to do what’s right and honor God . Thank you so much for preaching on this matter. I plan to share it with others I know who are living this way .
Teach children the biblical meaning of marriage. Pray early for their own eventual spouses and families. Make marriage enrichment the goal of your small group discussions and study. Encourage the marriages around you to stay strong as well.

Pastor Charles, my friend (a self-professed believer) has been living with his girlfriend (now his fianceé) for many years. I've disciplined him by reading the Lord's word and by sending him videos (including this one). We've been friends for 30 years. He wants me to be his best man in a wedding ceremony about 11 weeks from today. I cannot in good conscience be that public witness, even for this good friend. If he continues to stay with her, should I even attend the wedding?
I have a question. we do have formal ceremony in marriages now, but i'd like to ask is what about those marriages in biblical times? Like sarah and abraham, isaac and rebecca, then jacob and rachel? How do they get married in Gods eyes? Did they have some formal ceremonies or exchanging of vows? How did they do that? For we know in scripture Genesis 24:67 "Then Isaac brought her into the tent of Sarah his mother and took rebecca and she became his wife" this really confuses me. And also, because im kinda confuse about shacking up or living together only set up.. Like what about those couples living together for 10 yrs 15 yrs and with children without marriage? Are they sinning against God for fornication in that set up? If so, What is the difference between Abraham,Isaac and Jacob's marriages in those times versus the living together without marriage set up happening now in our society? Prissy, don't be discourage about Marriage, it is the Most Precious Gift that God has for Man and Woman ! It is such Happiness and Joy when 2 People who found Each other in this great big world and decides to be together in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, until death do they part. Honey These are Powerful Words!! and GOD blesses THIS UNION!!! Don't deprived Yourself of this AWESOME HAPPINESS AND BLESSINGS FROM GOD!!!
Prissy, I understand that you believe that you need 2 incomes, however, with God on your side and a desire to honor Him, He will and have made provisions that many of us can attest to. Marriage have many, many benefits. Nothing like having your spouse, best friend, do life together with you. Those who live together tend to go from one relationship to another. Believers should shine to represent the love of God.
