Found your post on reddit. Glad I hit the link. I'm not only impressed with the skill level, but the fact that you used such a soft clay like sculpey original amazes me. Looks like you switched to firm or medium for the hands but the fact that you kept so much detail using original is beyond me. Great video, great sculpt, keep up the good work!
Thanks for the comment. Really encouraging. Yes, I used Super Sculpey Firm for the hands. Super Sculpey Original was too soft for such tiny hands. The Firm helped me not crush the tiny hand with my hands 😄
@@thecraftersbench1827 I use firm almost exclusively for that reason. I also have bear paws for hands so I'm pretty good at squishing one side of a piece while working on the other side lol. Wanted to mention it would be great to have annotations or subtitles explaining your process as you go, and I'd love to see more of the painting! Again great job!
I often ask people if they would want me to add dialog to the videos, but I never get a large enough response. Perhaps I will try adding text in the videos and see how people like it. Thanks for your insight. I greatly appreciate the feedback.
Thanks for the compliment. As with everything, it takes time and patience. I know the video seems immaculate and simple, but it takes a lot of time and patience to get the desired outcome. 😅 Just keep at it and you'll create great sculptures as well. And if there are any questions you have, I'd be more then happy to help you with the insight that I have. 🙂
