I have the previous generation and it is mega! Running it as a mullet with the flip chip in the front position to shorten the wheelbase. What a bike! I’ve had mine for over two years now and it is a beast 💪🏻
@@alesbastl7716 Nice one mate, good to hear you’re enjoying it so much. Yeah unfortunately the new model doesn’t have a flip chip. @@EMTBNZ it doesn’t…? Hmmmm, that is a shame. And I noticed that they also removed the channels for the cables on the side of the frame. One of the things I like is the fact that I can customise the bike. I tried all the setups and for what I’m riding mainly the mullet with the short wheelbase is epic! I also got rid of the cable routing through the headstock which looks neat but is a pain to maintain. However I’m glad you’re having a blast on yours mate! Yeah a bit of a shame because I really like running mullet too. Try to get used to the 29”. Haven’t buzzed my ar$e which is good. Yeah I got away from the intergrated stem. But still internal cable routing. You’re bike sounds like a weapon mate! Glad you have it dialed in nicely. 😎🤙 cheers

@@bonedocridesemtb5794 Thanks. Yeah I always have a good time when riding. Yes just one time as I damaged the plastic clip underneath the battery when I clipped the bottom bracket hard on a drop. My ride is the 6.0 btw. Anyway enjoyed your vids and glad you are enjoying every seconds on that bike. Keep the videos coming!
Hey mate. Looking at this Sam2 6.9 vs Jam2 6.9. Any advice which you would choose for slower more techy trails? Im in Aus with a lot of rocky rooty single track where the suspension of the Sam2 would be better. Lot of people say this thing is better for fast big terrain. However concerned with the weight and largeness of the Sam2. Lots of people saying to go the Jam2 for my trails. what do you think? Hows it perform in slower tight techy trails with lots of climbing also?
Hey mate great question. I only had one ride on a the Jam2 but as you know I have been riding my Sam2 for about 8-9months. In the techy rooty chunk the Sam just eats it up for breakfast. They are long bikes so when it gets really tight I would say the jam might be a bit better for that but it certainly hasn’t stopped me getting down them on my Sam. Personally I’d like the sam2 with the extra travel. Climbs great. When the going gets tough the Sam has the edge. It is heavy but I got used to it very quickly. See if you can a test ride on both to compare. But either way I think they are both great bikes. Hope that helps you. But I see your predicament. Have you got a Emtb already and this is an upgrade?
Nice one mate. I’m picking up my Sam2 tomorrow 👌 just on the 27.5 rear wheel did you have to alter wheel size in the app at all? I would assume so. Keen to try it out. Maybe some offset bushings could lift that bb a bit. Happy shredding 🤘
