i met my husband who is in the same dept as me. Dated for 6 yrs during our times in that dept and got married. As long as the couple dont mix personal emotional with work, office romance is not a big deal.
We got tgt at our internship too, after 3 yrs of me chasing and getting rejections haha. Internships rly does wonders 😂

honestly office romance is okay as long as you can be professional when you need to
Alastair and Kezia both seem like very mature adults (having the sense to wait for the internship to end before beginning to date and openly communicating about possible social scenarios, for instance) but rarely do office relationships work out this well. It takes professionalism to behave appropriately with your partner at work, and I highly doubt the majority of adults have their shit together as well as Alastair and Kezia.

My wife (then gf) and myself also dated in the office like 30 years ago and once the relationship started, I also began to see every male colleague including the male boss as my competitors/threats. 🤣🤣 sorry for the lack in confidence on my part. This is the bad side of office romance esp if you are the insecure type of person as the "fear" and sometimes jealousy might affect your work.

sooooo relatable, my bf and I weren't tgt for a few months and was just getting to know one another while trying to hide it from the entire office but everyone sensed sth and repeatedly teased us + questioned us 😂 when we did finally get tgt, we declared it a month later. Thankfully our company isn't against it and all we had to do was declare

Sorry, i dont think relationship at work is good. Too easy to bring your problems at work into your personal life, esp if you are working together. If 2 separate departments that dont interact with one another then maybe okay.
